rvalkass 5 Report post Posted June 24, 2005 After a few minutes searching I found GeoAuctions Lite.Its the free version of a more powerful auction system. I looked at the demo and it has a wide range of information displayed for the items. Its released under the GNU/GPL so you can edit it to your heart's content! Have a look and adapt the features that you like. You say you are a mediocre coder, and I have found that one of the best ways to learn is by looking at other scripts.Hope you find what you are looking for, or manage to create your own. badinfluence 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2005 i was on my way of implementing classifieds ads using php and mysql. but not auction. auction will be more complicated, i thought. my script is still under development. it base on very simple layout and category. photos section also included. i try to run on server soon. for the auction, the time function and bidding calculation might be the most tricky parts.. i m interesting on it! Raptrex 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2005 GeoClassifieds also requires ADODB to work properly. ADODB version 1.90 has been included in this distribution to speed installation.
