That controller is just really ugly but let me just read up on the features for a moment...  So...I can't play my playstation games on this? So much for selling my PS2. Not that I'd make alot of money off of it. I'm a little bit dissapointed about the features. Man! my oipion i shtat this system owns every other system. including teh xbobx370 and of course teh nintendo revolution.! But thats just my opion. PS3 IS the most powerful machine out to date, thats a true fact. No wonmder its developed my SONY!the main thing about teh PS3 is that its got the best grahic process unit. mutiple graphic proceessors, unlike xbox 360's mutiple main porcsssors. i'd say i rather have more graphic proccessor than main procssors, but thats up to developer. The PS3 features teh blu-ray. If non of u have ever heard of this... let me explain in my own workds.blu ray is a laser that is differenht from regular DVD lasers. regular dvd lasers reads at regular DVD level depth and so read eith 4.7 Gb or ~9 Gb. But blu-ray is a special laser that with the DVD dics it can record up to ~20 Gb, some say 40 Gb of info on to a blu ray DVD. Now this opens the border as new games are debveoped and requires more and mroe room, whil Xbox and revlution are traped at the most 9 Gb no MAtter WHat, while PS3 can go up tp 40 Gb in future it offers unlimited (bascily) expandablity. Now blu-ray won't be usfull as soon as teh Ps3 hits stores, because no games will yet requitre that much space. But its a good thing to knowe that ur machine can aconmdate and expand into teh future.Of course more price comes with more feature. No doubt that PS3 will be significalty higher prioced than teh other two, BUT because the other two are almost inferier and cheap it will drag teh proice of teh PS3 down also. After reviewing all the videos I could find, for both consoles, on various sites and via BitTorrent downloads, I was left feeling that the PS3 is the only choice. These are expensive and the XBOX360 just didn't feel "NEXT-GEN" to me... I mean, seriously, the RSX graphics chip in the PS3 is more than two times more powerful than the most powerful video card available today for your high-performance gaming PC....... that's a thosand dollars plus worth of processing power, alone. C'mon people. Seriously... dual HD outputs... if you have 2 52" HDTVs, you have a 104" screen to play your PS3 through.... not that you do, but that's just awe-inspiring... maybe I'm just crazy, but my money's on Sony this time around...... even if the controllers are a bit aesthetically-challenged.Oh, yeah, one more thing: a company (exactly which one escapes my memory right now) has created a Blu-Ray DVD that can hold close to 100GB of data... that can be burned and then viewed on yer good old PS3. dropout21 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2005 the system is gunna be great.graphic capabilites are amazing and game size is hardly an issue with the blu-ray disks... meaning 50gig games insted of the 360's 9GB max.wireless controllers.... im not to keen on the boomerang design but either players will adjust or sony will redesign based on customers feedback.the system is worth the little wait and cash compared to the 360 and the 'revolution' is basiclly lumped back with the 'current generation consoles'. Saint_Michael 3 Report post Posted July 25, 2005 how heres comes the $64,000 question will game developers push the system to max in should graphics and game play?yeah the controller looks more xbox then sony, but if i was a tech engineer i would by two and take one apart see how well it is designed, most likly people do have ideas on how to do that so they can reproduce roms and bootleg the games.
