A Wap Site?

hey guys just wanted to no how to get on my website on a wap phone as the other day i was bored so i tried it but nothing happed just my title at the top of the screen wot do i need to make a wap site? can anyone help with this?thanks lil_chris

Hey dude..

you will WAP sites work on a new technology quite different from HTML..

But they look the same and easy to adapt fast..

generaly you can find nice tutorials in W3C schools site. they are quite explanatory. Also i guess you can use ur existing host itself. If your host supports subdomain create subdomain called WAP or something sensible.inside this subdomain your default page should be index.wml . So when you tried to view ur page in mobile you would have to point to wap.<something>.com A wap site is a seperate one you create. You cant expect the same page to come up when u try to browse using ur mobile. a lite version of ur website if you create will be much usefull. WML is easy to understand if you have a small knowledge of HTML.The images shall be wbmp so that they are faster to load. I created a wap site some time back with the same way and it worked! hope this helps any way all the best

There is no point in making a wap site any more, as most of the newer colour phones come with REAL web browsers like Opera! and what not.I attempted top make a wap site, it worked ans all, but no one went on it, i have a wap phone emulator on my site...
