yeah, well, its sounds kind of corny when you explain it. This guy sees an ad in a paper that says - Students needed. Must have a desire to save the world. When he gets to the office, there's an ape there and he starts to talk to them. Most of the book is them trying to understand how to fix the world. For example, they suggest such topics as overpopulation, civilization vs. non-civilized, etc. It's really good and it inspires you to try to help some world problems. It's by Daniel Quinn.
