iGuest 3 Report post Posted March 2, 2005 if you have a good idea of how to upload files to your hosting service, you can find free templates everywhere, most come with all files needed, and to edit the text, open the "HTML" file using notepad or word, and scan through it for the text u see on the page, and edit it to your liking. Heres an example: <html><head><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" href="css.css"><meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us"><meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 5.0"><meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document"><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"><title>Links</title></head><body link="#808080" vlink="#808080" alink="#808080" text="#808080" bgcolor="#808080" background="images/index_27.png"><div align="center"> Â <center> Â <table border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse" bordercolor="#111111" width="580" id="AutoNumber1" height="385" bordercolorlight="#000000" bordercolordark="#000000"> Â Â <tr> Â Â Â <td width="545" height="15" background="images/news1.png"> Â Â Â <p style="margin-left: 3; margin-right: 3"><font face="Arial" size="1"> Â Â Â Clan Links</font></td> Â Â </tr> Â Â <tr> Â Â Â <td height="347" background="images/newsbg.png"> Â Â Â <p style="margin: 3 10" align="left"><font face="Arial" size="3">Template Provided by <a href=clantemplates.com/ Templates</a><br>Americas Army Operations: <a href=americasarmy.com/ Website</a><br>Call of Duty: <a href=callofduty.com/de/ Site</a><br>Warcraft: <a href=blizzard.com/ Site</a><p>More will be added soon.</font></td> Â Â </tr> Â Â <tr> Â Â Â <td width="545" height="15" background="images/news2.png"> Â Â Â <font face="Arial" size="1">Â </font></td> Â Â </tr> Â </table> Â </center></div></body></html> (Used from the "codgrunge" template from clantemplates.com) if you look through it and see this: <p style="margin: 3 10" align="left"><font face="Arial" size="3">Template Provided by <a href=clantemplates.com/ Templates</a><br>Americas Army Operations: <a href=americasarmy.com/ Website</a><br>Call of Duty: <a href=callofduty.com/de/ Site</a><br>Warcraft: <a href=blizzard.com/ Site</a><p>More will be added soon.</font></td> You will see <p style="margin: 3 10" align="left"><font face="Arial" size="3">Template Provided by <a href=/clantemplates.com/ Templates</a> Thise on a site would look like this; Template provided by Clan Templates Most templates you find are set up in this format. You do have to do a littlebit of searching, but i find it a little easier then trying to make sure all the graphics you have are set correctly, cause with templates, most of the time its done for you.
