iGuest 3 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 Does anybody know how you can integrate a shoutbox into your page - without requiring an Iframe (in XHTML)Thanks
iGuest 3 Report post Posted February 24, 2005 Well, there are a couple of ways. First, you could use a flash shoutbox. Second, you could just have a part where the posts are displayed, but not refresh it except when the page refreshes. Third, you could use the Javascript XML HTTP request object to update your div that has the shouts in it. The last one is pretty advanced.
iGuest 3 Report post Posted February 24, 2005 The second one sounds good. Do you have any idea how to do this, or a tutorial site somewhere . Could i make a link which when clicked would refresh the page (some don't know the shortcut). Sorry for being a pain, thanks for the help.
