For Ashley:I?ll kiss on your humid eyesAnd drink the tears you let flowDown your cheeks.I?ll caress your chronic painAnd comfort your sad bonesLike hot water.I?ll smooth out the rugidness In your heart, and hold you closeEnough to feel the flowOf your pulse.I?ll sift hands throughThe tear logged hair.I?ll love the way we touchOur skin like damp clothsAnd watch the stars glistenInto silver bullets.I?ll hold the planet in my palmAnd feed you the glorious feelingOf falling into the poolOf love. Into the crisp and coolSymphony we shed with the humming trees.With each kiss I treasure, and hugI toss,Is a bound of sentimental emotion.Criticism and compliments are appreciated.
