iGuest 3 Report post Posted February 20, 2005 Is it possible to run multiple (sub-) domains on one account? It's a bit hard for me to fill 800 megs and 10 Gb a month with just my personal site, and I have a few projects which also have web sites. I can use URL forwarding on my domain hoster but that prohibits me to run any sub-domains. I think you'll have to modify your vhost configuration to get it working right? iGuest 3 Report post Posted February 21, 2005 ok, i set my name servers a long time ago. also, wen i looked up teh servers, they had problems. also, i think this might be that my cPanel doesnt know how much stuff i have, like space, domains, anything. where could i get support OTHER THAN TEH TICKET SYSTEM? iGuest 3 Report post Posted February 21, 2005 If i'm going to have 2 seperate website on one account and i have 2 domain how can I point each domain to each account?
iGuest 3 Report post Posted February 21, 2005 Use them as addon domains. If I'm not wrong, then one domain will point to a directory, but only you will notice that. The domain will be just the same for all internet users.
iGuest 3 Report post Posted February 21, 2005 ok, i found out why it wasnt working. it was because nothing on my account has been set up right on teh hosting. now i have to wait like another 2 days, grr.
