The Star System (Oh my god, its full of stars...)

The stars next to peoples names are really weird. They increase too much and too quickly. There was some talk a while ago about changing it but nothing happened. Here are what I think they should be:stars | posts | description0 stars = 0 posts = freeloader1 stars = 1 posts = newbie2 stars = 10 posts = Active Member3 stars = 50 posts = Nice Member4 stars = 100 posts = Cool Member5 stars = 250 posts = Great Member6 stars = 500 posts = Awesome Member7 stars = 1000 posts = Legendary MemberI think this sort of positive status would make people feel good about posting, no matter what they are on. Except for the first one, which will give motivation to increase status.

I suggest: 1 Star: 0 - 50 Newbie 2 Star: 51 - 150 Lurker 3 Star: 156 - 300 Active 4 Star: 301 - 600 Agent 5 Star: 701- 1000 Operative 6 Star: 1001- 1500 Commander 7 Star: 1501+ Specialist What does everyone think?

I would call myself a bit more than just active, so in my opinion the posts for those stars are too high.

Both of these are good, but i prefer the 1st set - mainly because if we applied hazaa's ranks - we would look like we're in the army

lol - the names are not set lol. I just think we need to expand the post count, because some users do not have anything to work to.

Here's the challenge - You have 7 ranks - make your own.

i think we should keep the names we have now and just increase the post numbers

mi prefer the 1st 1.. coz initial ranking increase faster.. make us more comfortable here if we r being active.. but in order to attain a higher level.. even more post will be require.. hence motive us even more to be active

Have they been changed to the ones you suggested or the ones I suggessted? Just curious is all. I noticed they changed the other day but I wasn't sure. So, to what now is it?

yeah i think it should be harder to level up but not giving army ranks.it should realy be higher than the "revised" ammount

Ok... then what is the result??? Do you have an officiel "STAR" star-rating definition somewhere on the site?

And: what is this "fnh$" thing??? Any desciption for this somewhere on the site?
