iGuest 3 Report post Posted January 27, 2005 I would have to rate it as 9/10 as it is filled with a variety of useful programs. Though some of those may be hard to pick up and I don't really care for their walkthrough of how to use the program making it harder for newer users to pick it up. Otherwise its a great program and I personally use fireworks mx to do all of my graphics. It's pretty nice!
iGuest 3 Report post Posted January 27, 2005 I have used Studio MX for a while now, but I went to pure Linux/Open Source and now I use Quanta+ for everything. I'm just as happy now as I was before!
iGuest 3 Report post Posted January 28, 2005 Hm, i havnt got the macromedia studio i only have Macromedia Fireworks and freehand, i dont really use freehand cos its a bit confusing but fireworks is good for the lasso tool and cutting out objects from background. I might have a look at the other programs in the package.. :wink:thanks for recomending..
iGuest 3 Report post Posted February 3, 2005 Macromedia Flash is awsome... its the best software ever... i've used it to make many animations and many games/applications... even tho i'm a noob at it, but at least i kno the basics like goto "frame" click and stay, and much more..i would recomend it to anybody, especially dreamweaver and fireworks... iGuest 3 Report post Posted February 15, 2005 I have Studio MX 2004, but I only really use Flash.I don't really like Freehand MX, or Fireworks MX -I'll just stick with Photoshop and Illustrator for my vector and rater programs.i hardly ever use Dreamweaver, but it's good for what it does, and I'd rather see someone use that than just using Photoshop and imageready to make bad static web pages. But yeah, I basically do all of my web design with Flash.I don't know about anyone else, but i can't wait for "8-ball" to be released. iGuest 3 Report post Posted February 15, 2005 I've used various Macromedia programs and think they a pretty cool, my favourite is Director, I'm not sure if it comes as part of the Studio, but it kicks *bottom* for making CD Roms... Flash is also fantastic... However I prefer Photoshop to Fireworks and Illustrator to Freehand. They just seem better to me... Personal preference I think. I would probably get demos before buying the studio, to make sure you don't waste money on programs you wont use.
