iGuest 3 Report post Posted March 8, 2005 As for AdAware, it is a good program, but a bit heavy for workstations. it has that great app that is AdWatch, but has a few problems dealing qith automatic mode (and manual mode is the same as having no protection at all, since the users on my company have litle or no knowledge of computers.. just word, excel and IExplorer)As for the new MS product, shouldn't it be already released with IE? iGuest 3 Report post Posted March 16, 2005 ok i use adaware and thought it was the bees knees ... and isnt too bad but after seeing the microsoft 1 i thought i would try this also ... now the pic im posting is straight after a Adaware scan plus definition update i also got the spyware blaster tonight and see how that will go blocking it ... my virus scanner also pics up adaware like gator and other known 1's but sumtimes things slip through http://www.norman.com/en/index Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
theBug 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2007 i use microsoft anitspyware though i dont need it because i use firefox. dump ie and you will never get spyware anymore unless you install software like kazaa I use Firefox only But don't be to sure you don't get any spyware! I still do and no downloaders like kazaa or any other type downloaders.You still need a spyware of some kind! If you don't believe me ,, download AdAware SE Free and do a scan.
