OK. In my personal opinion - Ad-Aware is the best

To quote geancanach, SpyWare Blaster is an excellent program, I haven't had any self installers(adware/spyware) install after installing this program. Excellent, and I've had it for like 4 months! 8)

Ad-aware SE is the best program for ad and spyware cleaning(imho). I use it for a long time and it always found and eliminate all the stuff that othrse couldent.

Yeah you did, but its really good. I have a story! Everyone get comfy...I got a new computer and used it for about a week then installed a bum file and i got pop ups. Then I downloaded Ad-Aware and it found seven or eight files to trash and that was good. Then Ad-Aware told my my dectecting ability was over100 days old or something I was like "huh?!?!" cause I just downloaded it anyways I installed the new dectector rays and it found over 150 things to remove on one sweep of my drive - wow! and it was less than a week old, amazing.So thats my story. You can all get up and have a snack now.

Heh... Im pretty sure my PC is clean of Spyware, Adware and Malware although i hope so... But the programs that i used, are:

- Lavasoft Ad-Aware (w/ latest definitions and reference file)

- SpyBot-Search & Destroy

- SpywareBlaster (for protection)

- AboutBuster

- HijackThis

- CWShredder

 

And i found a new Program by Microsoft and Giant Company that i recently just got called AntiSpyware (beta), did a full scan and worked great, removed the newer added spyware on my computer that the other app's wouldnt detect. Heres the Link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/security/default.aspx

I use ad-aware SE pro 1.05 Spybot SD and for my main program Spysweeper 3.5.I wonder why nobody mentioned it. For me SPysweeper is the best. protects and cleans. 56000 fingerprints for spysweeperI also got CWShredder. Hmm preety good for free as well as spybot.
