iGuest 3 Report post Posted January 15, 2005 That is in settings! Goto Tools>Options>Downloads> Then uncheck the "Show Download Magager When A Download Begins" box. (Is this what you want?)
iGuest 3 Report post Posted January 15, 2005 Well heres the thing with fire fox, it is very deciveng, yet it claims to be a great Ie firewall but it still lets in all the same unwanted items. For example malware, spyware, viruses, trojan, spam and more so basicly for me it seems all it does block pop ups and slow things down.

iGuest 3 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 Firefox is indeed better than IE. Especially when you're using a 56K modem. That, plus, Microsoft is evil! o_o
iGuest 3 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 Tweaking it in about:config as was posted above is definately worth doing. Mine used to be slower than IE but isnt now.You cant beat tabbed browsing - especially since windows started grouping tabs on the bottom as default (i know you can turn it off - but im lazY)
iGuest 3 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 That is in settings! Goto Tools>Options>Downloads> Then uncheck the "Show Download Magager When A Download Begins" box. (Is this what you want?)No, no, that already happens. And you can get the download window to dissapear when the downloads are complete too. But the thing is, I want the actual downloads to be removed from the window automatically when they are completed.
