iGuest 3 Report post Posted January 7, 2005 1. Create a new image 500x500 with a ?transparent? background 2. Go to Filter >Render Clouds 3. Go to Filter > Render > Difference Clouds. Press Ctrl-F three times to repeat the difference clouds three times 4. Go to Filter > Distort > Glass with the following settings: Distortion: 14-20 (14=Melting, 20=Freezing) | Smoothness: 2 |Texture: Blocks | Scaling: 50% | Invert: checked 5. Go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation with the following settings: Colorize: Checked | Hue: 180 | Saturation: 25 | Lightness: 0 DONE! To spice it up just a little bit more.... 1o. Duplicate the layer and change the new layers blending mode to "Overlay" 2o. Duplicate the layer you just made and change the new layers blending mode to"Screen" and change the Opacity to 50% Note:If you want just one icecube, dont do step 1o and 2o. Instead stop at step 5 and use the Rectangular Marquee Tool to select one ice cube, then copy it, then create a new document (the size should be automaticaly calculated for you because you used Copy). and Paste the ice cube to that new image
