I have used Fantastico and a manual install... manual takes longer but you can configure it in more detail.. i dont find anything wrong with fantastico

I always go for the manual install.

I used fantastico to install phpbb! it a lot quicker and easier than a manual install. plus i had problems connecting to the database installing manually.

sometimes i install using Fantastico and sometimes i manually install them..

[iGuest 3]

fantastico automatically installs a lot of languages wcih take up much room!

So I'll be using manual install from now on :oops:
