iGuest 3 Report post Posted December 27, 2004 can some one explain to me the difference between phpbb and phpbb2also if someone comes to my site clicks on the forums module instead of being taken to forums module they get taken to my standalone phpbb installation how to do that i seen some sites do that but they dun wan to share wif me..... Phpbb2 is also known as bbtonuke(special only for phpnuke) But I think Phpbb(https://www.phpbb.com/) is better than Phpbb2. Phpbb2 only have a few mods and tweaks but Phpbb have lots of mods,themes and hacks..... WRONG! Just like with IPB you have version 1.X.X and 2.0.X. The phpBB-group (https://www.phpbb.com/) is using phpBB 2.0.11(the newest)! There are premodded phpBB, but they are not released by the official phpBB-group.
