Homemade preamps and polymer piezos

Hey, y'allanyone fool around with preamps for high impedance mikes and piezos?I'm working on an electric cello, making the transducers out of polivynilidin flouride (bought two with the electrodes already set online) and had tried to rig up a preamp but had trouble with it.Any ideas or similar projects out there?Lets trade info...... why not show off your pics?
