Good Animation Programs what are some?

Recommended Posts

I've never really done any pixel animation, but I've used Adobe Image Ready abit and it seems pretty cool and powerful. If you're only going to be doing pixel animation it should do fine, I made my current avatar with it from scratch. XD

Hey thereI'm not quite sure what you were talking about, i wasn't sure if you were talking about Pixar or Pixels seeing how you were referring to Game design. The thing is I'm currently studying multimedia design and i usually use adobe photoshop, Flash , Director if you are just starting off and aren't familiar with complicated programs , or if you are totally professional then definately use Maya or Lightwave 3d programs to design your games . :DFor 2d .. im definately sure Flash is by far the best program on this earth lol. Well I've currently been doing story board designs and short animation .. but its great. You can use it to draw your images and then at the same time animate it so i guess its all in one. Oh and if you stuff up your drawing , you can just fix it up by clicking on the lines and moving it around its like reshaping your images. :D Anyways try it out and i wish you luck! lets see how your game turns out :P

Currently is the era of open source and I recommand you going with the best open source software available for animation named as blender.it is one of the softwares which is compact in size and high on features. You will really not regret using it.The only extra thing you need is the latest version of python installed on your PC.And you are good to go.
