What does this song mean?

Recommended Posts

I like this song, She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5, and I thought I understood what the song meant, but it's more confusing than I thought after watching the video. Does anyone know what is going on in the video because it confuses me.

Im pretty sure the song is talking about the older woman, the one that he is cheating with in the video, and the girl he is dating finds out about it in the video.

It looks like he likes both of them for different reasons. There's a youthful attraction with the daughter, but a deeper connection with the mother - who needs him.

Sometimes the concept of the video is different from its lyrics. So, don't confuse yourself with the video, focus on the song. The song is all about a girl that will be loved no matter what. Hope I'm clear! :)
