    The man who was greatly appluaded for the artistry of being able to bring laughter on the faces of many children worldwide through Count and other Muppet puppets of many famous personalitise like Sherlock Holmes,Herry Monster e.t.c. He was suffering from emphysema and died at his Massachusetts residence on Cape Cod. His survivors which include his wife,Jan revealed that the funeral plans are yet to make.His 2010 album "Truro Daydreams" described the Massachusetts town itself. According to his workshop in the recent years due to his declining health he was physically unable to operate the Count and other puppets on "Seasame Street" but still voiced the characters.The shows new season launches on September rendering his millions of fans to hear his voice again.
