Google has come up with innovative idea this time and is in its way to popularise one of the usual accessories we usually carry along with us- Eyeglasses The glasses have built in camera that lets stream images to its rack computers and return augmented relity information to the person wearing them.The same Android software that powers Android smartphones and tablets are used in these glasses too alongwith GPS and motion sensors.The glasses are a product developed by GoogleX offices, a secretive laboratory near Google's main Mountain View Calif Campus where Google scientists work to build robots and space elevators.Location information is the major feature provided these glasses like for instance if a person is looking at a landmark, equipped with these glasses he can actually get detailed historical information and comments left by his friends and hence these glasses augment visualisation by adding an extra layer of information to what comes in our view by naked eye.The facial recognition software if made a little bit accurate, the glasses would be equipped with the ability to remind the wearer of these glasses that how he actuallly met the apparently familiar person standing in front of him. The researchers are yet to decide if these glasses will be standalone or wireless powered by smartphone.
