  1. well, I do have to say that Xisto is challenging!!! sorry to play spoilsport, but by challenging, but i mean to say that my account has been approved for 2 weeks now, and half the time my website is inaccessible!!! in fact, i find that rap17 is better, atleast i can access the websites, though i find the forum count here too small - Xisto has a more number of topicss.
  2. Well, my name is Chirag. It is a sanskrit word, and I have studied sanskrit, so I can break it up.It mainly consists of two words - 'Chir' and 'Aag"In sanskrit - chir means everlasting, something which can not be destroyed. 'Aag' literally means fire. So, put together, my name means Everlasting fire, but the actual derived meaning is something like a ray of everlasting, undying hope in the darkest of times, propogating an optimistic outlook. It blends quite well with my personality, I personally like to think i have a positive outlook towards life.
  3. This is becoming quite an old and outdated topic - Firefox wins hands down in each and every aspect against Internet Explorer. There's just no point in comparision..... it's something like Paint vs. Photoshop. However, the important thing to see is how Microsoft learns from its mistakes and improves upon in IE 7. That is when the real war will start.
  4. Well, it is ceratinly possible to have psi-powers, and i'm saying this because i myself can do such things. I can easily read minds and also do some telekinesis. Sounds unbelieveable, even absurd, but it is true. And anyone can do it, you don't have to be special for that. I do know a site where they have instructions for this (that's from where I learnt) but i ain't disclosing it before making sure it's not against the rules.
  5. 2 of 'em here - one is an unbranded 128 MB stick, and the other is a transcend 512 MB stick. both are usb 2, and so very fast indeed.
  6. well, for me, the future means the convergence of mankind and technology. instead of working against us (like in The Matrix) man will devise ways in which he and technology will become one, and tech will find a place in almost every other aspect of life, be it eating or sleeping or our daily routines or whatever.
  7. well, all this has actually happened. Kevin Warwick is called as the world's first "cyborg" or as you call it, a cybernetic organism. He's been doing research in this field and has a microchip implanted in his body which is directly connected to his brain. the chip senses his nerve signals and acts accordingly. for example, he could control a robot over the internet which was miles away just by thinking!!! in order to lift the robot's hand, he just had to "think" about it. If that's not all, he implanted the same chip in his wife and they both were connected to each other, and they could like mentally talk to each other. the borg are coming!!
  8. Well, just 1 here, but if you count the old compaq laptop, 2. But then, you also have the 2 palm pcs and a moblie which very much has the features of a full-fledge computer (convergence is finally upon us)
  9. I have a very high quality 17" LCD, so i'm very comfortable with 1280*1024
  10. Well, this was really fascinating, and i've heard of something similare to like this - psionics. you know, all that wierd stuff people do like reading minds, etc.. There was a russian woman who was really famous for this. she could even move objects just by the thought of it!! I was interested and did some research, and stumbled upon http://www.psipog.net/ it's a cool site, and has instructions on how to go about things. and it actually seems to work!!!
