  1. The only form of phone number ownership in the US is through leasing. Telephone companies and exchanges don't actually "own" telephone numbers - the number blocks are "assigned" by NANPA. Leasing can occur through local phone companies. That doesn't always mean they are the current owner of your number. NANPA provides a Utilized Codes Report(area code, and prefix ownership), however I'm not sure how up to date they are. US laws governed by the FCC provide rights garauntee through the Local Number Portability act (for both landline and cellphone). Under the Federal Communications Commission’s “local number portability” (LNP) rules, so long as you remain in the same geographic area, you can switch telephone service providers, including interconnected Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) providers, and keep your existing phone number. Once you request service from the new company, your old company may not refuse to port your number, even if you owe money for an outstanding balance or termination fee. You may request service from a new company at any time.
  2. The ability to own a domain (eg.com) and an IP (12.13.14.15) exists- you can reserve one for over ten years at a time.In the US, some new laws exist allowing the right of telephone number ownership for cell phone accounts ( the right to transfer "your" number). But, what knowledge path exists allowing similar domain, and IP ownership security for US telephone numbers?Eg. 1.) I'm a home owner. I'd like to get a number first ( reserve ownership for 3+ years or so), then consider voip, or landline, google phone, etc later.Eg. 2.) I'm a business owner who would like to do the same thing. I don't even want to have to worry about the possibility of loosing my phone number.
  3. Hi comp2, Nice to meet you too, and thanks for your interest. I have been working to add some polish to my site. It should be done soon, and is something I goofed on, so it's down for a couple days while being refreshed. In a nutshell, Techwealth is founded to benefit students and their communities through the use of technology; our slogan.."Student Technologies". I'll be providing further detailed info soon, and will post back to this topic. How about yourself? ( your profile says you have 45 posts, but I could only find several) do you have any general interest posts here?
  4. Hi sheepdog,Thanks for the compliment, great to meet you.I grew up always having a dog as one of my best friends.I bet you have a lot of fun working with them.woof
  5. It's great to read, and learn some updated news about design/innovation !I'm just getting started applying focus to learn more. But, I'm inspired to chime a quick mention.I think Xisto is an outstanding define.
  6. Nice to meet ya Nitin,Dubai huh? NiceGood stuff on your site! I look forward to learning more about your IT adventures. My site is currently lacking, but I'm back towards that focus. It's designed to benefit students and their communities through technology " Student Technologies".It's quite dynamic, with traits of "opportunity through participation".As a Tech Solutions Agent, I could find myself working in an emergency operating room one week, sitting with a class of 5th graders, redirecting flights at a military airport, or fixing a bank president's technology the next week, etc...Part of my profession involves that I be part actor, part detective, part scientist, part engineer, part artist, part technologist; often at the same time to provide proper completion of solving an issue, furthering a dream, or design/build through innovation. The scenes, locations, and roles change on a daily basis. Always a new challenge to solve.I'm currently working on some basic site stability, and info. Afterward, I'll definitely enjoy spending more time with Xisto!
  7. I've been rockin technology since Pong. I've been a tech solutions agent for as long as I can remember.I've always used my talent with honesty cause I think honesty rules, and trust is BOSS.My organization ( Techwealth) started with Xisto bout 4 years ago.On a mission to provide technology with a purpose. My journey to design this is now complete.I'm stoked to introduce myself, plus jam out with Xisto, and their efforts toward harmony in life and technology.Holla
  8. I too have the exact same problem. This item is one of the first things used when getting started. I had hoped there was enough info to get started. However, the wizard which provides instruction provides very simple instructions, and tutorial. When looking at the documentation, it is very simple, and does not provide minimum requirements, additional recourses (that provide extended help) etc. I imagine I sound like a newbee... well I am. Any info to provide detailed instruction for required steps using the great hosting services would be greatly appreciated. I am hoping to be able to use (mostly) 0nly 1 reference. And would rather avoid having to become a web design expert just to get 1 page up that says Under Construction. Thanks,
  9. I'm new here, So I'm not sure what you mean by " private videos". If you could provide me with some feedback, and some links to better inform me on these rules, I would appreciate it. I am working on many things involving getting a website going. I am also working on various other things involved with creating an online presence with many respects. One of my focuses is to help inspire students. There are great amounts of areas I am working on. So thanks in advance, if you are able to give me some good pointers regarding rules for posting links. With all the many tasks I have ahead of me, I could use some good Xisto "solids"; and I hope you will follow my progress and offer some feedback in the future.
