Computers will be everywhere, but they are already on a lot of places, like someone took the example of movies. Every movie has been designed or influenced in some way by a computer. Cars will go to their destination without even a word, they read your mind If your pc gets hacked in the future, you're dead, since it helps your body to live longer. Everyone gets a chip implanted when they are born, so the CIA can find you anywhere. The chip also serves as identification, so no passports any more. I think in 50 years when I still live (I hope, hopefully you guys too) a lot of these things are normal, or very close to their introduction, you will be surprised I think

I get it now I think As long as you don't copy material someone has made (like an explanation of a word) you're on the safe side (or at least in the grey area). Taking my dictionary again, if you take exactly the words other people have taken, it's also breaking the rules, since someone has thought: we take that word, that one not, ... And as you said, someone has ever found the formula for the area of a circle, so it can be copyrighted. Thanks for the explanation, took you a long time to type that, sorry. -

I already thought it was a grey area, just an example. If you just take the words from the dictionary, putting in your own explanation, it would be the same like you said. However, in my opinion those are facts you copy, is that legal or not? I've never heard of someone who has copyrighted 1+1=2, just an stupid example -
I've also some invites left, so if you want one mail me: silverwoody@gmail.com or just pm me, what you want

I've read the site http://www.whatiscopyright.org/ too. Found it very interesting. I have however a question, maybe you guys can answer: if I am correct, you can't copyright facts. Let's say I want to make a site with cheats of popular first person shooters. Could I copy those cheats from other 'cheatsites'? It is just an example, I'm not going to make such site, but it was the first thing it came up in me -
well, it's long, but ok as far as I see Is it realy that much? Thought it wasn't a big difference. However most people can afford the CRT, despite the fact it consumes lots of power, so it don't weights very heavy I think that is the only real pro for LCD. Handy if you don't have a lot of room. But again, if you have some money you have probably also enough room for a CRT (which has so many advantages) If I would need a new monitor I would take a CRT for sure. It is probably not the future, but right now it's the best, and that's imo the only thing that counts

I think you should look for 'better' friends (or whoever they are) I use Teamspeak alot for my codclan, no troubles at all with it I've never tried ventrilo, I dont think msn is very handy for the real gaming, since lot of people start talking to you and in that way slowing your pc down (without the chatting it already slows the pc down when it's running)
