hi i was wondering if i could place some kind of code in my banners that i'm gonna put on different webpages and then once my viewers visit my page i could know where they came from so that i could concentrate on advertising in certain places. i used the w+ method....however i solved the problem. for future reference: i loged into my ftp by typing the ftp in the mydocuments address bar and then loggin in. then i changed the permission to write for others and groups on the txt file!
