I've met a lot of Americans. Most of them have been really nice, but there are a lot of them that also share this narrow minded thoughts:- they think they know everything- they think they are the only civilized people- and pretty much they think that the US is the center of the world. But like I said, they are not all like that.

Have You Ever Felt Like Creating A Game ... And if you have...
darvtech replied to Etherion's topic in Programming
java should be a good choice to make game, especially if you are into multithreading and networking kind of games. The java 3D api would also be really helpful in terms of graphics. With all the documentation that there is in Sun's website, it should be enough to get a good start, but it will obviously take a huge amount of time to develop something too sophisticated. I like the yahoo kind of games, simple graphics and sounds, but a huge selection to keep you playing for long periods of time. -
How can I configure my site to make use of JSP? I thought that there was support for it, but I can't figure out how to make it work. Any help please?

i agree. But I guess this team has regained back the attention and interest that international basketball was lacking in the US. Before it was just about watching the real Dream Teams beat and outscore everyone else. Now is more about competition and real game play. So people are at the expectation of outcomes.

I think frontpage 2000 it's a good html editor. It's very simple to use and doesn't use to many resources (like memory) as frontpage 2003 or dreamweaver. But if you are just beginning into html, dreamweaver it's a good option since it helps you with all the tags you need.

In HTML you can use the 'select' tag to make a drop down menu. Inside it, you use the 'option' tag to add elements to the menu.<select multiple name="NAME" size=?></select>Creates a scrolling menu. Size sets the number of menu items visible before you need to scroll. <select name="NAME"></select>Creates a pulldown menu <option>Sets off each menu item For example this will create a menu with two items:<select name="menu1"><option>Element 1<option>Element 2</select>To make better use of this, it would be good to learn javascript too.

Any other salvadorians around here? For the people that don't know, El Salvador is the smallest country in Central America. Many people confuses my country with a city in Brazil. But it's not the same.

I think that many girls behave in a mean way because too many guys pick on them, therefore they feel like queens of the world and don't care about guys' feelings. It's all about them and their pride. Girls can treat men badly, and men will always be back for more. That just fuels their ego and they seemingly enjoy it. That said, we'll never be able to live without women, so we better get use to it and hopefully we'll find a girl that appreciates our commitment.

That will be an interesting matchup. I think that the US team is getting better and I wouldn't be surprised that Iverson comes up with a surprising showoff, helped by Tim Duncan to win the game, and the gold medal too. However maybe they deserved to lose for being too over confident and not sending their real super stars.

Super Smash Brothers Melee Does anyone still play this game?
darvtech replied to darvtech's topic in Computer Gaming
Yeah, I know for sure that you can do the Link stuff, but I'm not sure about the other one. I wonder if it might depend on what version you are using. Maybe it comes only on the Japanese version or something. -
I've found these 2 sites to be really useful, you can learn all the basics about javascript and dynamic html also. Javascript Tutorial Webmonkeys Javascript Tutorial W3Schools

I hadn't played this game for a long time until recently when I saw a guy making an awesome trick with Link. He mysteriously digged out a huge sword from the ground and his power and reached increased enormously. I've been trying to figure out how he performed this trick, but haven't found a clue. Does anyone know how to do it? I've heard there's also another trick where you can play as zelda and shiek at once (you control both player at the same time).
