I dont think it would take you much just for starting up. A starter webhosting package is enough for you and if the site gets more visits or consumes more bandwidth you can anytime upgrade the plans

I have tried kontera for many of my content sites and din't earn a single penny from them.Google adsense is good if you get a lot of visitors.

There is much difference in security too apart from just the SEO part!

All these books for marketing and all is just another *BLEEP*. trust me, i have spent a lot on such never really helped.All you can do is concentrate on the content of your site.. once you start getting visitors getting money from google adsense is just a piece of cake

i used bytehost long long time ago.. wasn't really very impressed with them. You free is not always better
