I wanted to get Office Word 2010, but unfortunately I found that it was designed to work only on Windows XP SP3 and upwards. Neverthless, there are some improvements in this release. It's more secure but seems to need a lot of disk space (because system files are duplicated).One of the biggest improvements: support for the sensitive screens.

Yes, these issues are confirmed with linux. By defaut the drivers of the wireless card are not shipped with linux, moreover, I read that the distribution should include the newer kernels (2.6.21+). Broadcom recently released the native driver that should be compiled on your distribution
