  1. In 9th grade, one of our assignments was to create 2 life metaphor poems. I must admit, when it comes to poetry, I become quite inspired. Ha ha. I personally like the 1st one quite better. I always felt a little uncomfortable about the second. Enjoy, and please comment! Life Metaphor Poems 1. Life is a furious storm, With its raging winds and clashing thunder, Bringing misery and woe to all. The storm scarcely ceasing, all people nearly freezing, In their tracks of life, thinking all is lost. Yet the storm comes to an end, The eye is where the fury stops, and at this moment people have hope to accomplish their missions in life. But soon after one has nearly achieved their ambitions, the storm starts once again, never ceasing, never ending, until the very end of life. 2. Life is a sunflower, With its beautiful, radiant petals gleaming in the sun=s rays. Showing its beautiful petals, and standing high and proud above the earth. But at night, the flower is quiet and dull, having no faith of why it should be living on this beautiful earth. All aspiration is lost, and the flower does not bloom. Until the morning, when it has faith once again in its abilities. Slowly, it spreads its grand pedals, standing proud above the earth, standing proud above the earth.
  2. What an awesome and inspring poem! Very touching. I loved it!
  3. Here's where you can find ALL of the special holiday logos Google has used--directly from Google itself: https://www.google.com/doodles Hope I helped!
  4. Hmm...Opera. The only browser I've never used (besides on Wii. LOL). Is it really as good and flexible as you guys make it? If so, I can't wait to try it out. Thanks for the post! Maybe I'll post an update of my thoughts!
  5. Google chrome is a completely new browser in the sense that it has a very open interface. The tab menu is combined with the close, maximize, and minimize button. There is only that and the search bar on the top. There is no bar on the bottom of the browser like in Firefox and Internet Explorer. Do you favor this style of browsing?Personally, I hated it at first and it made me feel real uncomfortable without an enclosed-looking browsing window, but I"m starting to like and get used to it very much. I'm living without the awesome Firefox add-ons for now, but I don't know how much longer that'll last. LOL
