  1. Having not been a fan of the original (I HATED that ending), this one had a lot to do for me not to hate it... And it did.I actually enjoyed it. I've seen all sorts of movies, and never really had one (Okay, Green Mile) hold me in suspense the way this one did. It was quite good. The story evolution dragged here and there, but not long enough for you to let your guard down. I'll admit, there was some unnecessary violence towards the end, but it was there for effect.Acting was held up by the lead, Father Merrin (Stellan Skarsg?rd), who did an awesome job of filling the role. Through twists and turns, the movie made sense, and ended much better than the original (IMO).All in all, it was worth the watch, and I aim to see it again, this time with a female (first time, saw it during my "Lunch Break"). I'd advise all guys here to do the same.I'd give it 3 out of 4 stars.Go see it!

    Zelda

SNES Link to the past is my fave. Classic Zelda action, and the basis for comparrison of every Zelda since... Look at Four Swords.
  3. I like the viper too, but I could never own one. Those things have too much power for their own good. Can't take turns fast enough, and when you romp it for a straight line, they twist in all directions. Other than that though, I really do like those cars. And now you can buy a pickup truck with the same engine.
  4. You're right Donegal. I got the 17 from the commentary of Pirates, when they filmed she was 16, and when it was released, she was 17. I forgot how long that movie has been out now. My mistake.
  5. Hey man, earlier in this thread you mentioned Anna Kournikova... And IMO, she's not that great. So for you to bash those other guys, saying yours (who isn't even yours) is hotter, is strictly opinion man. If their happy with their gf's leave them be. That's what matters to them. Ever see Shallow Hal? Even if you can't see it, but they can, why should it bother you? 2 cents
  6. That's true... Even though the US shouldn't even be involved at this point, it's still great to watch other countries go out, and do what they do, THE RIGHT WAY, and do it for their country. It's my fave sport, so I just love to watch. And above all, it doesn't much matter who wins (this time around), just so long as the players remember, it's a game... Which is every country except the US.
  7. Skillzone is tons of fun, but I've only played it twice since its at my friends house.
  8. AWESOME!!! I've got 2002 for PS2, my friend has 2003 for xbox, and his gf just got 2004 for the ps2. I just bought an adapter for my ps2 controller to hook up through USB so I can get 2005 when it released on pc before any consoles.Such awesome games. I used to play 2002 (back when it was new) under the influence, and lemme tell you, it's even more fun that way.Anywho, Love it. Glad to know I'm not alone.
  9. USA's biggest problem is, we sent over a bunch of guys who are used to being the star, and when a whole bunch of stars get together, it becomes a battle for who shines brightest, instead of, let's go win one for our country.Instead of one team, with like 15 guys, it's 15 teams of one guy, trying to play for that next endorsement bonus. Sad, but true.I would honestly prefer they didn't win, and when they got back, had to forfeit their NBA contracts. Nobody plays ball anymore, it's, "I've got my own shoe!", or "Did you see me on the McDonalds commercial yet?". I miss the days when players competed on the floor, but learned to get along off the court. Which made things a lot easier when assembling a Dream Team.Look at Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson. They played for the Celtics/Lakers, when they were the big two. But in '92, they were able to get along fine. And moreover, once the sport became Jordan's he was still aware what was at stake for his country, not his wallet. It burns me up. I'd play that sport professionally for free if I had the chance, and these guys whine about $20 mil a year. Just stupid.
  10. so, um yeah, but if you ask me, I like to think Chrono Trigger is better than all of the above mentioned games. Why? Because of opinion. That's the only thing that keeps this "controversy" moving, is everyone has their own opinions.Spectre said it best, in that you can't compare them evenly. I'd reather bust out my old snes, and play a classic rpg, than sit through countless hours of fps monotony. Again, my 2 pennies...
  11. Only probs I have with Knightly, WAY too thin, and second, she's only 17! Great eye-candy though.
  12. why bother with an OS that won't see the light of day on a sales shelf until 2006? Heck, they may decide to scrap what they have in that time, and stick to xp for a while longer. And yes, even if you provide the info, attaining it without a license is illegal. Even if you found it on their public ftp.oh well, have fun, but I'll wait for it. Win2k is doing it's job for me.
  13. I got it down to my top 2, Katie Holmes, and Natalie Portman! In the words of Wayne Campbell, and Garth Algar, "SCHWING!"
  14. Hey man, the Countach was King when Cannonball Run Came out, and I was alive for the sequel at least! LOL. But hey, it's an appreciation, and that's what this thread is about. Ad for Top Gear, AGREED! I'd love to have that guys job. I hate it when people ask me to drive some of the best cars in the world, and ask me for my opinion, sheesh. Greven il-Vec, sorry to hear about your traffic woes, and I know how it feels man, but prolly not as severely as you do. When I first moved to my town, there were all of 1 (that's no typo!) traffic lights. Now unfortunately, their even making there way into the secluded area of town (we've got about 13 now). And the sick thing is, it's only gonna get worse. I love how this topic is taking off, and hopefully more will take to it soon!
