Well now we know its nto a rumour. They announced it on 11th Feb. Looks like it will be bout in Summer 2009. I cant wait, i though COD4 was the best one so far. This new one is going to be amazing.

Here is another one who hates byethost . I used their autoinstaller to instal Joomla and it installed their own version which gave like six popups per page.

Nice site! It is clean, simple and with a good use of an accordion. If you are making website I suggest you add a portfolio of some sort or any image gallery. The blog is neat a looks good.Oh and btw you have a couple of deadlinks from your blog. ( I get to 000webhost ) Also for the contact tab maybe you could incorporate a form which could send its contents to you. Otherwise I think it is a great site. Nice work. Keep it up.

I saw this on the new yesterday. IT was terrible. Pakistan sure is not going to have anymore tours for a very long time. I heard they used AK47s and RPGs and hand grenades. It is lucky they survived. I also think i read that one umpire was killed in the second bus which was following it. The security must have been very poor for this to happen. Now we can only hope nothing like this happens again.

Recently Apple released a new beta of their successful Safari Browser. I tried Safari 3 and i loved untill it seemed to randomly become slt rif of it. However this new beta look amazing, especially now that Apple has loaded it with several eye-candy features such as cover flow and top sites. There are also other new features and performance improvements. Cover flow: I think the new Coverflow feature in history is great. As well as being able to search through history you can see the web pages. This gets rid of clicking each item to see if it is the right page. Now you can scroll through and take a look. The great thing about the history search is not only can you search for past pages but also the text in those pages. But wont this take up a lot of space in temp files or something? Top Sites. The top sites feature is great. It displays all of your favourite sites in a cool 3D wall. Pointless but it can provide you with quick access to sites you visit very often. Tab bar on top: The tab bar has also moved, instead of being with all the other toolbars it is now in the title bar. Who knows if this is useful? IT is a matter of personal preference, you will have to check it out to see. There are also new tools for developers Safari is the only browser that provides tools for managing the offline databases that can be part of you websites. The Databases pane in Safari allows you to view databases, tables and records from right inside it. You can even run SQL queries on your offline databases. Nice for those with offline or test CMS sites! Resources is another great feature to check each element of your page and check sizes and loading times. Great for when you are optimising One thing i hated about the old safari was how it your site.stood out and didn?t look like a windows program at all. The new safari features a native windows look including a native title bar, borders, and toolbars. Plus all the great features from the previous version of safari are still there, for example Snap back. I have the beta and love it. I don?t intend to return to firebox for quite some while now. Anyone else tried the beta?

This all seems pointless to me. It is a cool feature yet i doubt it will ever be useful.Everyone can use a map with an arial view and streetview isn't even very accurate. For example of you type and address in then check it in street view you are not shown the correct building.Im not worried about invasion of privacy or anything if someones has something they want to hide the shoulndt have it visible on the street but i think Google can put its money to better use. For example improvemnt of their Android software. If they are toimprove htier maps they should just stick to making it more accurate.

Halo and Call of Duty are both amazing games. With over a millions copies of each sold both geames are extrmeely popular. Each provides a completely unique gaming experience. Nevertheless one still has to be better than the other. They both have pros and cons. However possible categories for comparison are : Campaign Gameplay, Online Multiplayer, Game Modes, Customization and Personalisation and A fun factor.To avoid confusion I assume it would be sensible to compare both the lates releases (Halo 3 & COD5). Unfortuantely I am not in a position as I do not own either.If I was to give you the scenario,of only being able to purchase one game, what would it be?I have played Halo and am amazed by the extent of its online mode. There are countless maps with new ones being released and several different maps with vehicles and weapons. Forge & Custom games also allows the use of your creative side.COD5 ,eets a whole new standard for gameplay with also an excellent online mode(quite similar to COD4 though). Realistic gameplay and a very good campaign.Despite all I am not able to arrive at a conclusion. Perhaps someone else will be able to help.Cheers!

Lost and Damned is out. THe new GTA IV expanison. I have played GTA and love it. Its jsut too good. The new lost and damned is said to make it even better. Plus there is also a lot more XBOX 360 gamerscore achievements up fro grabs. I have a problem though. I have enough Microsoft points for either a new game or lost and damned. If any one knoews about the addon, has recomenndations or genral info, all is welcome.Cheers

I recently bought a new acer laptop, it has linux on it but no cd drive. I need to install windows. A netwrok install is not an option for me, Anyone sorted this out or got any ideas about how to sovle this. I saw that xp can be installed by usb but could not find an easy tutorial to use. A new Burnout game is coming very soon - Burnout Paradise. The PC version ooks really good. It will be avalable on the 360, ps3 and pc. There are some new features. Fistly there is an online mdoe where you can invite other players to free roam with you. You can change settigns such as traffic density and many more. The chrahes types have also been changed. If your car is not too badly damaged you can driveaway fro ma reck. However if your car looses all its wheels or is severaly damaged you have to wait for it to reset. More gameodes have been added and for the PC version there are many expansions and downlaodable content. Here are soem game modes Race: Races consist of the player and at least one other car (races with just one opponent are known as 'Duels'). The player is given a location to race to. The player can take any route through the city to the location, with the aid of a flashing road names at the top of the screen when the player is advised to turn. The first to arrive at the destination wins; there are no points or prizes awarded for placing second or third, unlike most racing games. Online races can also include checkpoints that need to be crossed before reaching the finish. Road Rage: The player is given a target number of takedowns and a time limit. A Road Rage event is won by meeting or exceeding this target in the given time limit. A variant of this event was made available for online play in the "Cagney" update. Marked Man: In this event, the player is given a destination. At least one opponent is trying to stop the player from reaching the destination by scoring takedowns against them. The player must survive from start to finish in order to win (the player can be part of collisions, but loses the event if he totals the car). A variant designed for online gameplay was included in the "Cagney" update. Stunt Run: Players are given a target score. They must earn points towards that score by using boosts, jumps, drifts and other such stunt moves. An online version of this event type was added to the game as part of the "Cagney" update. Burning Route: Each Burning Route requires the player to use a specific car. Once the player is driving the required car, they race against the clock to a specified location. When a Burning Route is won the player wins an upgraded version of the vehicle they completed it with. The upgraded vehicle can boast extra boost power, more base speed or a stronger body (but usually in exchange for another category being made weaker). This event is unique in that it does not reset when the player earns a new license, because it's tied to the car used to run it rather than the license level the player is presently at. Another main improvement is that there are many more cars and these can all be played with usign high quality graphics.Thsi is going to be a great game, cant wait till it coems out.

Has anyone used cooliris ( formerly known as piclens) It is an amazing firefox addon wich totally remakes you browsing experience. Everything is laid out in a interactive 3D wall. Quicklinks on the side take you to games, news, pictures, etc. A great piece f software for a new way to look at photos. Built in compatibilty with site like photobucket, facebook, google images, youtube and many more. You can view everything i na cinemtic 3D wall. Whats more thsi runs straight in firefox and dowsn't slow it down at all. Here it is : Cooliris Anyone else used it, what do you think?

WOO ! Another one for firefox, version 3 si the greatest, much faster , easier to use and again the addons keep coming.

The many question which bugs me and i'm sure other Joomla users is which is the best template provider. The only good ones i'm aware of are Yootheme and Rockettheme.I intiially used Yootheme. THeir templates looked great, they add several features (mainly from their Yootools). The layout is generally good , not to clustered as Rockettheme can be sometimes. Unfortuanetly they have only released about 25 templates. - One a month.The major problem I have is customizing the templates, it is much more confuding and they don not have very many tutorials for templates. The templates also tend to be slower than any other ones I have tried. Despite this their templates are still very high quality.Eventually i discovered Rockettheme. They immediately seemed better than YOOtheme ( i first saw there DEC 08 Vertigo template with the paralax effect - WOW!) The templates seem to load much faster and be the same high quality. They were more customaizable but I did find them too clustered. I prefer a sytligh yet simple layout. Another great thing is they now provide phpbb3 styles. So my site can have a matching forum! Anyone know any better template providers or perhaps is aware of tutorials or resources for the above providers. All help is appreciated. Cheers!

Superpowers. If you could have any power you wanyed what would it be? You can have any power except the power to take powers or create more for yourself. I know I would like windpower. I know I could do a lot with that, hmm but i dont know what I would do. Not sure if I would use it for good or evil. Anyone else care to share their dream superpower and what they would do with it.

I have decided I am going to use Ubuntu. Would someone please explain the differences between Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Mythbuntu, Fluxbuntu, etc. Are there major differences and which is the most suitable option. (my preferences are in the first post)Cheers

The new Windows Live Messenger is an amazing new product from Microsoft. A huge improvement on the previous version.It boasts several new feature which I cannot see how I did without.A new groups feature that allows users to create a continuous group conversation between select contacts, newly redesigned and more easily identifiable status icons which now resemble small gems rather than the previous "Messenger Buddy" icons, a new default "Favorites" category in which you can place your favorite contacts for easy access to them, a new Photo Sharing utility that allows contacts to quickly and easily browse photos together, and a "What's New" section at the bottom of the contact list to outline recent contact updates. Display pictures have been moved over to the left side of conversation windows, and new colorful borders appear around display pictures to display the current status of that contact. Never new I needed it until I got it.The new scenes are great. You can select from a gallery or uplaod you own image an customize they appearncce of messenger to suit you. Whats more is that othe users when chattign with you can see you prersonal scene. The layout is also greatly improved. It can be set to show display pictures along with contacts. Another genius feature!There have been a few removals from MSN 8.5. Firstly the statuses such as Out to lunch, On the phone, etc have been removed. I really dont mind this as I find them unecessary. Sharing fodler have also been removed, this also doesn't make much difference to me. However it has been replaced with an option to upload files online to share on Windows SkydriveA few more games have been added and now you can watch MSN Videos with a friend from within a messenger video!!! Really useful where sharing videos no longer any need to post url links. For me I also find the new MSN is much faster than the old one. Or maybe that's just me. Anyways I know this is a version that I love. What does everyoen else think?
