Halo Wars is supposed to be comming out sometime early this year. The programmers(Ensemble, they made the Age of Empires so they have some experience) have thrown every RTS control ever out the window, and are completely revamping the commands to fit perfectly to the feel of the 360 controller. You'll be able to play as the UNSC(Earth) or as the Covenant(Aliens). However, Since Microsoft has elected to shut down Ensemble in the near future, their is speculation that the game may fall short due to lack of caring now. However the programmers themselves have come out and said they'll put their full effort into it regardless of the future of their studios. Personally I can't wait!?!

I dunno, generally get the feel that brighter websites are boring, from the days when the internet had just picked up and people didn't expiriment too much. I think that if you can find a dark background with a light text, or even just have the text outlined in a light color you'll be fine. But i feel that darker websites seem more profeesionally done. That or create a sleek silvery feel. Lets face it, sleek is chic...

After reading up on this last previously unnoticed page(sorry), I wanna say to Ucrg, I have the Dune game and it really was a great game, for it's time at least, i wouldnt recommend playing it now though for anything more than the story with so many faster paced gametypes out there nowadays

I would definitely reccomend starcraft: Brood War as a playable and addicting RTS for a number of reasons.-Ten years After its release it still considered one of, if not THE most balanced RTS strategy game out there, (3 radically different races, none overpowering another)-Unlike the Warcrafts series, there are no hero units, this means you have to keep an eye on all your units. You're micro management is important in the beginning, middle, AND end.-Blizzard has FINALLY announced the release of Satrcraft II. With the new series (3 games, standalone for each of the 3 races) It'll be a great idea to get caught up on the story lines, as well as to practice for the up and coming games.-Finally, It's got an amazing balance between micromanagement, macro management, and strategy... each being easily changed in adaptation to yours or your opponents strategies...So yeah, I'd definitely get starcraft dood.P.S. im' sure Warcraft games are awesome I've just bever been a fan of the make believe in the past, and heros kinda put me off =(.

I'll be honest, I've never played madden 05 as i never got into the sports games til last year... I know my opinion is propbably tainted as i play Madden 09 right now and they've had about 5 more years now to fix anything NFL2k did better since my current version of NFL2k is the 05... IMO Madden is better, you can literally customize the role of each player on defense and put the QB on auto piolt to run a custom route. I think Madden 09 is amazing with the exception of it online freeze glitches. But an opposing player online purposely freezing the game isn't MAdden's fault and they do what they can now to catch those people. So while it sounds like 2k was better, no one would say they'd rather play a worse version of a game, even if it was better 5 years ago. That would be like getting a washington apple fresh off the tree, and an Oregon apple fresh off the truck, and three days later getting a fresh oregon apple from the tree, and then claiming you'd rather eat the rotting washington apple you still had from a few days ago!!

I have had the playstation and playstation 2 for a while, and never had any problems with them. granted they have been in the closet for nearly 2 years now since the release of the xbox 360 (I've since become a Halo player). Working the rRturn Desk at Sam's Club yeilds the same results, in a year i've had 1 PS 3 returned. --On a side note I've also only had 1 360 returned, and my family owns 3 ourselves, each of ours broke down to the ring but microsoft's service(for its console anyways) rox!The other two things I wanna point out are that working at Sam's Club I'm constantly getting Bravia's returned for picture, sound etc. The only TV brand that i see returned more often than the Sony Bravia is the Vizio. I think it's worth noting that Sony used to help Visio 'til Visio decided it could stand on its own to feet...So while I'm convinced Sony TV's are a rip off, I have to admit they have a solid game console dynasty

Lil late but...-Learn to run away, learn every aspect about a map so u have ample choices in where your running, running from one guy into his team mate is always a buzzkill. There are two side to winning a slayer match, killing, and NOT dying, not dying is just as important!-MOving on, learn to use the battle rifle, 1 nade, headshot= kill, beat down, headshot= kill, 4 head shots= kill. Always remember ammunitions take down sheilds the same amount regardless of where it strikes (1st battle rifle shot to the stomach does the exact amount as a 1st battle rifle shot to the head), so your first 3 shots at someone just have to hit them, when sheilds are down any human projectile to the head will kill them with one shot (battle rifle, pistol, etc.). You can tell when an opponents sheilds are down as they're sheilds flash when they're dropped. -Lastly, i walk around with sniper, BR most games, just remember, communication leads to knowing what opponents have what weapons, so you know wether or not to fite the guy in the room below you, because you know whether or not he has the SHOT! GUN!... If your opponent has a close up weapon you walk backwards and fight, (practice a steady hand, as its easy to wig out running from a shotgunner), if your opponent charges u in a small room with his BR blazing, snipe, beatdown= kill... --hope it helps!

I'm sure they'll leave the choice of playing as any of the 3 races online, as they'd most of the code for the computer AI in the campaign anyways, just making it available to you in multiplayer or custom gaming... No proof, just y own personal speculation.On another note, did anyone else see the spectacular announcement trailor of "Starcraft 2" by Blizzard at Blizzcon? If so did you norice the real life signifigance of the Marines quote at the need of it!?!"Hell, It's about time!"IMO, pure genius!

I've been playing starcraft on and off for about four years now, and one of things that amazes me is the balance of the three races, i know what the original author said, about zerg terran and protoss, but really the micro, and macro management are equally important to all races, they just change roles depending on the situations. Another great thing about the starcraft maps is the availabity of the maps pro players and leagues use. These maps have been scrutinized for imbalances that would suggest a races superiority and make sure to change them. After all is said and done though, my favorite part of the game are the "pimpest plays", the top ten micro intense moves of every year for about 5 years. These include 1 marine beating a lurker a terran walling a protoss plyer OUT of his own base, and an astonishing amount of gameplay innovations created by pros such as Nada, Boxer, Yellow, and July.
