  1. I also was thinking of getting an high-end tech laptop instead of the Desktop Pc i got some weeks ago. What made me make a choice is the fact that you can always do upgrades to your desktop pc, while in laptops you will barely be able to do it, but also the fact that you can get the best out of a desktop for much less money.I wanted a PC made for gaming, and found a good deal on eBay, for $550 I got: AMD Phenom Quad core 2.3Ghz black edition, Patriot 4GB RAM, Ati Radeon HD3870, everything installed on a Crossfire capable motherboard, inside of a Thermaltake case with HDD and DVD burner, along with mouse, speakers and keyboard included. Now thats a great deal eh?? a laptop with those specifications would have costed me around $1500.You could find something that suits your needs and wont rip off your wallet if you take a search on that website, thats my advice Anyway mate, good luck with your purchase.
  2. Maybe they will come up with a way to make it's battery last around the same as a regular cellphone, or even more? you know, technology can always surprise you.
  3. That sounds like a cool device, not only because it will be able to make Video calls, but with a 7 inch screen it will for sure do some other great things maybe cooler things than the iPhone... but wait.... a 7 inch screen?!? that's sort of big for a cell phone screen, maybe it will be a little uncomfortable to carry it on your pocket. That's why I may just buy an iPhone instead
  4. Well, not so much ago Nvidia used to "own" the GPUs market, with Ati having to use higher clocks and more expensive architechture to get at least the same performance of Nvidia cards, but nowadays, it seems like ATi its doing his comeback, thanks to their new HD 4XXX series. It's their price/performance ratio what attracts the clients (including myself). Now Nvidia is having a hard time trying to match Ati's prices, but thats almost impossible with the architecture nvidia is using, it's way too expensive, there are Ati products that are just 10% less performant than Nvidia products for less than half the price I certainly prefer ATI, (by now...) as you get the same quality for less money, and in a few days im getting my Radeon HD 4850 now thats a card with an amazing price/performance ratio.
