  1. I just found out that whenever you change you're secret Q&A in your yahoo account, you can still use the old one. WTF??? the reason I change the secret Q&A because the hacker who hacked that account is using the Q&A to hack it again and again. Is this how yahoo works?? what a lame excuse for an account. I should have used a hotmail instead of yahoo..

  2. Do anyone of you know how to create archives like the archives system of WordPress? I want to create an archive system. or even just a simple wordpress like archive systemalso, I have a code <img src="images/sample.pic"> when it is archived the images won't appear unless put a "../" in the beginning, nowcan we rewrite ../images/header.gif to images/header.gif using htaccess or vice versa?

  3. you can use Firepow. It's the same as WordPress but can be installed in many sites in just a small span of time. if you can create 2-5 a day then in firepow you can create 10-20 a day (just a calculation).

For me WordPress is actually created for blogging. But it can do the same as Joomla can if you know what you are doing. Just explore the whole admin panel and read. You can create a site similar to (or better) than Joomla's output site. For me Joomla will be a bit difficult for beginners not like WordPress.

  4. I am a past entrecard user and I think entrecard isn't that great. But I can give advise if you want to use the system. In advertising and placing you banner in their site, if you know good sites who use entrecard then bookmark the site. If don't then try to search good blogs with entrecard on their system. dropping is another matter. You can just drop to any blog that has the entrecard widget.

  5. I think I can gain access to my email again. Microsoft verified me as the owner of the email and is just waiting for the email that will contain the reset password link. But Yahoo! didn't because they are asking for my secret q&a. It sucks because they don't give alternative validation like Microsoft did. As of this moment I don't think I will try to use Yahoo!'s mail client again.anyways, thanks nameless for that.

  6. Hackers sometimes hack random IP's or hack a website you're registered on to get an IP. There are numerous ways that it could have got in.Scanning doesn't really detect keyloggers as they could only connect in the moment they know you're writing a password...

There's another thing, Yahoo is very s%#! no offence. It has been attacked by hackers since the start and I don't like their service at all. :/ So look out and be safe :P

    Thanks.
Do you have anything in mind what to do? Do I need to reformat my hard disk? I actually don't know because this is the first time one of my accounts were hijacked. And in my research and finding reviews, those three can detect keyloggers.

  7. Its possible that you have a keylogger or spyware on your computer that could have allowed a hacker to gain access to you email account. alternatively, the email could have been sent by an anonymous email client - there are tools that can be used to make an email appear to come from an address it does not really come from.
Make sure you run an anti-virus/anti-spyware, dont log into account on PCs you dont trust, dont save your password in insecure storage (use an encrypted password store) and make sure all your passwords are unique (dont re-use passwords tat you are already using)

It may be possible but I have a regular scan schedule. I am using MalwareBytes, avast! Antivirus, and Avira AntiVir. If it's a key logger I don't know how it ended up in my computer. And the email came from yahoo itself. after that message I can't log in to my email account. I use different password for all my accounts important or not. Even here in trap is a unique password. I only use my computer logging in to my accounts if the account is important. Well, I don't actually use a different computer except mine.

    Thanks

  8. my email has been hacked.. dunno but it looks like it. then this email popped out of my email account in yahoo: nco_que_alcastillo [at] hotmail [dot] com [unverified]is this email sounds familiar? of course I recovered my email. I have an alternate email so tough luck for him/her.I already changed my password. Is there any of you guys can suggests some email knowledge?I am a programmer so I know my stuff.. The password on both my email are created using a PHP script I created so both password is a unique alpha-numeric strings. I don't really know how he/she got my password though.

  9. I am using Windows XP. I can do the manual transfer, like installing OS, every piece of software then transfer every piece of files.. the problem is I have plenty of important files and softwares in my 40GB HD so it may take long enough. I also need the internet cookies, bookmarks and such. I am just thinking if there's a simpler and fast alternative. well, thanks anyway.

  10. Since you're saying that you're mostly into graphics, I would indeed recommend a Mac to you, even though it's pricey. The security that comes with it is worth every penny.Of course you can get this security for free by trying Linux, but you won't get all your hi-def work done in linux :P And I'm sure gaming won't be a very big problem on Mac, since there's always the option of good ol' dual-booting. I use Windows 7 purely as a gaming platform and for nothing else. I suggest you do the same, since Mac does pack in a punch for everything that it offers.

I can't really think of using linux.. I have used linux and it's kinda hard since most of the companies doesn't support linux. Mac, on the other hand, has many good feedbacks when it comes to graphic related things AND VIRUS almost 0% not like windows.. since i'm a designer I will really like to use a kind yet I still lack experience and information about mac OSs. I'm still thinking though since I am not rushing my decision.

  11. Hi, i'm thinking of buying a new desktop and thought of upgrading my OS from XP to 7/Mac OS. Any comments between this two would be great.. or should I stick to XP? I am using programs specially adobe products.. I also play some games and according to some, you can't install most of the games on mac. I also use some programs that is windows only. and yet they say if you're a graphic guy or something then you should also get a Mac. (kinda pricey $_$ for a dual boot) the reason i'm asking opinion. and yes, i'm a graphic guy..opinions about these OSs would be great.thanks

  12. Game Maker is good. I have created a simple pacman-like game but i'm not into game programming so I abandonded the "project" and since time past, I lost the files. If you really are into gaming then I suggest you to use C++ just like the others suggested.

  13. well, many replicas is a really piece of junk specially for smart phone.. for me though... iPhone replicas really sucks.. big time.. it's like the iPhone is 100% and the ChiPhone (China iPhone Replicas) is below 10%.. even with the touch pad.. they really suck.. for Nokia replicas china phone still sucks..branded phones doesn't mean you're only buying the name.. rather you are buying with a secure, usable phone (with a price of course).. so if you don't want to buy pricey stuff then find cheap alternatives.. Nokia and SonyEricsson isn't that much... iPhone is cheap too..and for the parts, one of the reason I can think of is because manufacturing cost is lower in china than in other country.. you can pay a Chinese employee really cheap.. since their currency is low.. but of course i'm not sure with this..

  14. it's kinda hard.. the way i am leaving I will really pick money..there's a saying here in my country "rich people are for rich people".. kinda absurd.. yes.. but for me it's reality.. falling in love with a rich girl is a pain specially for my status in life..
