you don't need to create a whole new mysql database by the way. all you need to do is change the name of the tables in the installation page (change the name of the database tables to something different to your old phpbb forum's)

I know that nowadays the word gets thrown around quite a lot - and to my mind far too much - but the question that I think is of some interest before people get into a debate about race is, WHAT EXACTLY do we take racism to mean? Of course we can give dictionary definitions - but how well do these apply to the common conceptions that we have - do they correlate to the connotations that people attach to it? Is it possibly just a fact that we use the word in far too many different ways for it to have much meaning? Is the technical definition far wider than we seem to realise? Is all "racism" wrong? Is all prejudice bad? Is anyone who notes a difference between races a racist? If I were to say that on the whole, black people are faster than whites - would I be a racist myself?I would be very interested to hear what people take the word to mean, and whether they think they use it in the proper way all the time.

after recently reading about the "prince" who doesnt want to be in the paper i have been asking myself what is teh poing of these so called royals. i can understand why they was there when countries at war but not=w they seem pointless, i know that someone will say that she brings in tourists but is the country that poor? we have a prime minnister who does what a queen should be doing so waht is the point of her then and i know that some people will criticise me and some of my points are maybe wrong but i didnt really do history. back to the "prince" who was moaning about his personal life ... he should be happy that the public have taken an interst in him i mean if he is to be king then we should know more about him and who may even be the future queen, i think taht he should be worried if they public arent taking an interest in him, i mean the queen is barely even watched on tv anymore lol people would rather watch east enders lol

Ok heres the problem: i have been trying to solve it. no luck.run down on hardware (where the problem comes in)- my pc (regular CD ROM)- wifes pc (DVD/CD ROM)- Our PCs are networked. The problem: Myst 4 is a DVD only. something i cannot install. 1# - Ive tried sharing another DVD ROM to install. I got through the 1st CD, but the 2nd CD was transfer ERROR. No go.2# - Ive used alcohol 120% to create an image of CD1. I then transfered the image of CD1 to my PC. I then attempted to create an image of CD2, but when I reach 63% i get an error.Ive searched the web alittle and have not found a solution. I just cant make an image of CD2 of myst revelation. Once I get both CD images onto my PC i can install. Killing me. any help?

Ok when you play Multiplayer with a friend on tthis game go in the the town map and pick a deternator mine for a weapon and then the people usaully hide in the castle so Q-Jet up there and when hes in there plant a mine jump out and use your remote, Ka-BOOM! I've done this and it is funny!!

Running 1.6, I can get as high as 150 fps and average on a map like dust around 100. On CS Source, my computer won't hardly handle it. I've dropped as low as 11 fps on some maps with rain falling. I've set everything in the graphic settings just about as low as it can go and even overclocked my machine a little but it still sucks.You would think an AMD 2800 Barton +, with 512 2700 DDR, and an ATI 9600 pro would handle it, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The best I can get on the built in stress test is 82 fps.

basically, last month i exceeded my bandwidth and my site didn't work after that. now it's a new month, my site doesn't seem to be back up, even though in the cpanel it says my bandwidth usage is 0mb.. what's wrong?

I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed. The game was still awesome all the way up to the last hour though. Problems I had with the game:-Last level had you wandering around for a long time for no reason-Last three sith lord bosses were a piece of cake, nothing like fighting malak in the first one, and you fought 2 of them in 30 mins.-Ending felt so rushed, so many questions poorly answered, and so many new questions arising.-Ending also sucked, I played lightside and that 10 second ending where basically you fly away on the ebon hawk just didnt justify the 40 hours of play (Lol I actually searched google to try and find the ending because I thought I was skipping it)Obsidian made some good changes to the gameplay, fixed a lot of problems that plagued kotor1 but the storyline at the end almost ruined it for me. Hopefully kotor3 will tie up all the lose ends nicely, with the exile and revan teaming up against the true sith.Oh yeah and I <3 my silver lightsaber

yea, lol, the only problem with this text effect is that when you rasterize text it usually messes the look of the text and you can't add any 3d effects etc. to it

I'm not sure if this is obvious to you all or not, but I decided to make a tutorial for it anyway. This tutorial is a lot shorter than my last C4D one, lol. You should end up with text looking like this at the end of your tutorial: 1. Firstly, type in your name or whatever, using the text tool. I used the BitDust Two font, at 36pt 2. Right-click the text layer in the Layers box. Then select 'Rasterize Layer': 3. Then go to Edit > Transform > Distort: 4. A box should appear around the text. Firstly click on the top-left point of the box, and drag up and left: 5. Then click and drag the bottom-left point of the box, left: Okay, that's basically all you have to do, in the end i changed the layer mode to Overlay, and added some Outer Glow. You may also want to use the blur tool to smoothen up some of the edges. Note: You can use the Distort transformation to make A LOT more different looks, just drag the points of the text different ways. Note 2: As you can see from this image: Once you rasterized the text layer, you can use some other transformations. 'Skew' and 'Perspective' also let you create A LOT of different effects, so try them out!

Its worth it though. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ check out the high res ingame shots to see what I mean(hint, look at the city scene, then look at the buildings in the background and realize thats all part of a huge fully rendered city, then realize thats only a single city in a game that will have dozens of them on a single very large map, along with armies and native wildlife, etc). And check out the shadows, never seen those kinds of quality shadows in any rts ever. But best of all is the water. Look at the half life 2 quality reflections. Many sources, including the devs themselves claim that running this game at max settings will require much more power than any of the latest games including hl2 and doom 3.

For those who are not aware, there is a book available that is the prequel to Episode III Movie (Sequel to Episode II). The book takes place RIGHT before Episode III, in fact, it leads right up to THE beginning of the movie.I just got done reading the book (approx. 340 pages, hardback), and I must say it was VERY VERY good! It is, seriously, a must read for all Star Wars fans. The plot of the book was outlined by Lucas, so even though it can be classified as part of the 'expanded universe', it really isn't. It fills in soo many holes and what not from episode I and II and it also introduces us to the history and background of General Grevious. Pick it up! Definitely worth it! In fact, I am going to re-read it come april/may as a refresher to the movie

i got a warning email telling me not to store large files on my t17 account. but in my cpanel, it says that im using up 41.39 / 150.00 MB of my space, so.. im confused by the email... the largest files i have are about 1 or 2 mb..edit: okay, i've deleted some files and now my cp says 17 / 150.00 MB space.. all my files are under 1 mb.. does this mean my account wont be terminated..?

The prequel to the first Devil May Cry. It's supposed to have 4 different battle classes to choose from, whether you want to deal damage with the guns or roll and tumble out of danger. You advance in classes and learn different skills, I think the graphics are better this time around. This one looks like it'll make up for the second DMC game. So, is anyone looking forward to it?
