I registered domain Shows Ltd. com in june 2008... and one of my friend's cousin works in godaddy.com .. I chatted with him and he said the name looks soo branded that it would sell for millions of dollars in future but i doubt it and checked for domain name worth and found it to be 2,950 US$ ..which is also pretty cool..But at present i am not interested in selling it, but rather i like to make money from it.. First idea, Shows Ltd. Looks Branded? like Road. Shows Ltd. , Motion Picture. Sows Ltd. , Warner Bros. Shows Ltd. [all are subdomains lol] So i got the idea of giving branded sub domain registrations to other visitors for FREE like the service provided by http://www.iscute.com/.. but the problem is i don't know any technical knowledge but lol i downloaded the required scripts on some warez sites but is it legal to use such costly scripts for free??? Second idea, Many people including me gets annoyed by the long or backside url of the channel page for example http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ .. Its very annoying anything to write after the domain name.. So i got the idea of giving free subdomains to all youtubers and others a free sub domain redirection service [like iscute.com or 8rf.com] .. And not only that, the main part comes here is giving all Youtubers a Branded name like for example Josh. Shows Ltd. com or Livegirl. Shows Ltd. com or 01Demon. Shows Ltd. com or Username. Shows Ltd. com ... Looks Branded ????? And here comes the advertising of it.. The #8 Most subscribed of Youtube sxephil is my online friend.. So if he just makes a video, just for a couple of days we can expect 1 million views.. So my question is shall i start this service or not, people will like it or not because some usernames may be very long and can be very annoying to remeber like for example jk01kjuesdfjjjkl. LOL, i did a stupid thing i think in year 2004 ... [i was 15 years] I registered microsoftalive.com and kept all the photos and videos of Bill Gates hehe lol .. and kept a tag also stating this website is for sale and its cheap only 10,000 US dollars lol.. and after a year passed, i got a mail that your being sued by court blah blah, i was shocked and just kept quiet over the issue and i haven't paid money for its renewal... and till now i have no idea what had happened to it... i see someone registered it again in 2007 with enom... Did i do a mistake, in keeping quiet over the issue? or it was a false email notice?

Hello to all, Please don't mind my english.. I always talk about 3 letter and 3 character domains and thats the case about everybody likes it.. You know some guy registered in 1994 [i cannot see his name and address because he has whois protected.. ] and recently in may i think he sold it in the ebay... Some ebay user named artillary129 bought it for 1,000,000 US dollars [1 Million US dollars] and you think i'm joking .... naah see it i pasted the link here, go check it now.. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Cannot believe your eyes? but its true, the guy who actually registered it for 10 US dollars a year had sold it for 1,000,000 US dollars.. That's now everyone interested about 3 letter or even 3 character domains.. Just think what would be the price of a 3 letter .org or 3 character domain name at the end of 2025 ??? 1000 dollars? 10,000 dollars naah it would be 1million dollars for sure if it good one like xyz.org or htv.org ..... so even if you have 3 letter .us or any extension don't sell it in a hurry, just wait for the correct time.. wait for the actual price to come up... And remeber while regestering a domain it should be meaningful or its just waste of money and time, the letter shoul d be reasonable and attractive unlike if you register qrp.us. lol this is waste, no one buys it... P.S if i was 18years in 1990, i would registered some thousands of sweet domain names lolol...

Afternic don't care about their own rules As some of you has already read in the afternic area, My friend have an issue with a domain bought through Afternic/NameMedia http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ To be short, my friend bought a domain for $2500, and paid immediately. The owner contacted him saying that it was priced wrong (?) and that the domain revenue was $3000/year so he didn't want to sell. A week passed, and he had been contacted by Adam from NameMedia who wrote that this domain had a yearly revenue of $100000 (!!! yes you read right! about 34 times more the revenue the owner told me) and so the owner didn't want to sell. I think this data are ridicolous. Membership agreement says that he bought this domain, and that they have to help him with this transaction. Seller's rules too, say that seller is obliged to sell Please note that you are bound by the Asking, Reserve and Floor Prices that you set. If your domain sells at any of these prices, you are in a binding agreement to sell your name This is the last mail he received, some minutes ago: There was a pricing mistake and they will not be selling the domain for the 2500.00, we will be refunding your payment today. I apologize for the inconvenience and I understand our terms and conditions but sometimes there are circumstances that call for special attention. In few words, they are saying that Afternic rules are worth nothing? The membership agreement is worth nothing? They will simply cancel the transaction! Can sue the company? What do you think about this?

Hello to all people,First thing, sorry my english is bad..I registered few domains with LLL.org and LLN.org in 2005, i thought it was the best and short 3 letter and 3 character domains..I got many offers and i sold it for 120 & 80 dollars respectively and i guess the deal was right but presently i personally need a 3 letter domain for business purposes and i tried to registar it but, i found that all 3 letter domains are completely extinct or registered by the other user and i cannot belive it because i always thought that LLL.org would be waste of *BLEEP* and i ignored it ans sold it for less price but now the domain which i need is in sedo parking which has many offers with 6 bids currently on it with a selling price of 665 us dollars and i cannot believe that people are that crazy for the .org domainsI mean the .org is meant for Organisations, common who needs it, all are crazy about .com's and .net's and to my wonder all the .org's are sold, now the after market domains prices are too high, so now i'm thinking of buying LLN.ORG or NLL.ORG, i mean its not good in sense but i have no option, .com's are completely sold out and even .net's are sold out.I just need a 3 character domain name which my first prefernce was .com but the prices are like three figure or even four figure and the next thing is about .net 3 character domains which are all sold out and the present price is like about 660 us dollars. The only option is to get a .org 3 character domains which are at merge extinction according to a survey on a website it showed that only 5000 3 character .org names are left out, so all hurry up and grab your 3 character domain names.. The demand arises when the 3character domains are completely registered by the users..So my question, is it worth investing in 3 character .ORG domain names? Please advice me..

Hello all, I just signed 5 domains with Netfimrs.com....The reason why i signed is because it provides the domain for 5.95$ which the lowest price in the present domain market.. That is the first mistake i did in choosing it...After the creation of it, they provided a free hosting account which actually sucks because the place a massive ads on all you r pages and it is 25MB free space, however i am not using it.. At first i tried to create a subdomain and url forwarding to it, they said to wait for 24 hours which actually sucks because i also use Yahoo domains service which activates the subdomains or url redirection service very instantly and i took the live help support which sucks the most ...And the godaddy is some what better than it and i tried to domain transfer to the godaddy account but the problem is the domain transfer is only accepted after 60 days of domain creation according to icann thats the most suckiest thing i have ever seen. .. and now my domains are unemployed i mean they are just dumb without any life... because i dont like the hosting plan of NETFIRMS and i cannot transfer my domain to other hosting accounts... Can some one help me ? i'll be waiting..

Hello people, Sorry don't mind my english, I heard the LLLL.COM has been completly extinct from the domain registrars... So the next hype is going to be as LLLL.NET in next 2 years i guess.. The after market demand only arises if the certain 3 letter or 4 letter domains are completely extinct.. I did a stupid thing that i sold the hwib.com for 70 dollars [i sold many 4 letter domains for very less in year 2007 ] in 2007... i still feel bad for it .. and presently i am buying LLLL.NET and this time i won't sell it .... I'll wait for the correct price to come up.... Am i doing correct thing in investing the LLLL.NET domains ??? Please give me some ideas...
