I have a home. After several weeks of searching, reviewing, and posting I have solid, free, feature rich hosting. Thank God for Trap 17. The first question a reasonable person would ask is why bother? Just get paid hosting. Well I have paid hosting and it is not so different from free hosting. Same issues, same features. One big difference is when they go under your payment for services goes with them. I needed a good free host for my clients. I wanted to be able to say hey try this host with your new site from me and you can have great service at low or no cost. The big advantage is try before you buy. If a hosting provider can deliver good free hosting, chances are the paid is reliable as well. Another is no cost to get a site hosted at the start. Many of my clients are trying to start the online portion of a new business and money as well as time is short. Having a free host option is helpful to new site owners. On the flip side I can help a free host by bringing users who are going to go paid in the future. That is what started my decent into hosting hell. From the start It was apparent I was in for quite a ride. The first host I tried, my5gb.com, seemed good for oh about two hours. Then they were gone. Site down no place to go to get help. About a day later they came back. This went on for several days. Finally, they never came back. I saw a site with a similar name had just been started. Hmmm, I wonder what happend? Onward to the next free host. Hostsnake.com, Seemed good, had a good history. I got a day out of it. I re listed and redid my domains and yada yada yada again for nothing. They went under. Wow the day I posted my site was the last day they were to be around. Off to the search. I next went with Aok hosting. Again they were ranked high on many review sites had a good long history. I got three days. They went down a few days and came back screaming for donations or else. Well I am not sending money to a "free" host who is telling me they are just about done. They also put ads on the sites without warning. I left. I am not sure if they are still up but I doubt the new "$10.00 for lifetime hosting" deal has any takers. After all, how long is the life going to last at site that tells you were not making the server bill. That reminds me, some advice, beware of anything that is for life for a low fee in hosting. It mostly is a last grab for cash for a host who knows they have only a few days left. That should be illegal. That is one of the things you run into with paid hosting. You pay a one time or yearly fee and they go belly up with your money and your files a few short days after you paid. But the worst of them all is the lagoon sites, domainlagoon, gamelagoon, hostinglagoon. They should just be called goon. That is what you will feel like your dealing with. This operation asks you to review ad offers and take surveys free. You get points to use for a free domain and free hosting. Sounds fair right. Wrong. Turns out that they are doing some real bad stuff. Example, you take an offer to answer some questions about customer services. Seems simple. You get a few tenths of a point reward for your time. What your not told is that all the information you share in the form will be sold to mailing list and telemarketers. Not only that but you start getting billed for services you never heard of or agreed to. They hide behind the TOS of each survey. They insert outlandish terms in the survey terms like, by agreeing to answer these questions you accept membership in the ring tone club for 10.99 a month. On the page your taking a survey in the terms your getting crammed. Well fortunately this kind of TOS is illegal. You will win back your money and have the spam stopped but you will spend weeks trying to recover your cell phone, email, and money. This is sad. Most people looking for free service can't take a hit like this. The cell bills can get crazy with calls day and night and no way to stop them. It is my firm hope that this kind of criminal is rightly punished. What kind of person fleeces those already fleeced. I truly wonder, I really do, how can a person sleep at night knowing they are robbing thousands of poor people. You have to have some real bad mental issues. Well I feel all better now. I have trap 17. They do expect you to post but by the grace of God they do what they say they will. They are honest and tell it straight. In today's world that is gold as gold gets. They don't try to steal from you or treat you like another statistic in awstats. Your not up for resale here.I will post and post for this service. I don't have to worry about anything and I get to warn others of what goes on in free hosting. I also feel like I worked for my hosting. Its a good feeling.Happy Hosting

Soda and flavored drinks are the real culprits in the battle of the bulge. Just one drink can have enough calories as a full meal. Many people go on diets but never think to curb the sweet drinks. Have you gained weight? Do you feel sluggish and slow? Does your circulation and digestive track have issues. Sweet drinks could be the problem. How much water do you drink a day. Many people don't drink any. they are so accustomed to flavored drinks they have forgotten the importance of plain water. Kidney stones, heart problems and most notably thick blood can be a problem with bad drinking habits. The early onset of diabetes can be attributed to excessive sugar consumption related to flavored drinks. Need flavor try crystal light. Yea I know it sounds unmanly but so do breast. Drink flavored drinks all the time and you will have a fine body for a study in what not to do.Conclusion, be water aware. Start using ice as much as you can. Cold drinks lack flavor but still satisfy. And get your wife or mom to buy you some crystal light.

My wife became addicted to pain killers after a breast enlargement surgery. The fact that her doctor prescribed so many pills is a topic for anther day. But I digress. After two long years of trying to quit while maintaining her life my wife was at her end. I did some research and came up with information on methadone and traditional detox. Well is was not long for me to see that detox can be very invasive, humiliating, and worse of all the methadone could be way overkill for a prescription addiction. The methadone was said to be near as bad as heroin itself. I wanted none of this for the mother of my children.I dug deeper and found the answer. Suboxone (pronounced sue-box-un) is a drug that has been around for some time but for some strange ( I suspect financial) reason it is not readily available or marketed in the way it should be. Meeting addicts of all kinds at the doctors (a regular doctor prescribes Suboxone in his office) I learned that no other drug can restore even the most addicted to normal feeling and function like Suboxone. Here were people who had habits that would fell a large bear. Normal and comfortable. Even giddy and happy after one dose.My wife met her doctor and started her very private drug treatment program. The first dose was all it took and my wife and I both knew the nightmare was over. She was not high or sick in anyway. She was normal. For the first time in years normal. Taking another pain pill would not be an option even if she wanted to. This medicine reacts very badly if you try to use while on it. You will go into a very bad detox and nobody can stop it for days. Good news. You won't want to use. This pill will not only make you not sick it will make you not want.If you have this problem your not doomed. You can get a redo with a simple call to the right doctor(must have special training and authority to prescribe). I can't say it enough. Freedom from your misery is so near. Like anything no magic pill will do it alone. You have to want to live and fight for it. This will just get you to where you can make a realistic and controlled stand. Good luck all with this problem. Your not a bad person. You just need help. Everyone needs help sometimes. Nobody is perfect. And remember no is really the strongest solution to an addiction you could never imagine to be so strong. For god sake don't think this pill is a pass to try drugs of this kind. Even with Suboxone now getting the attention it deserves, it won't save you from the destruction of just a few days of this addiction if you can remember what day you started. Try heroin and you may wake up two years later on another continent wondering what the hell happened Suboxone is the key. Get it as soon as you can. Get it and welcome back. We missed you.

Lock Ness Monster Fake or Real?
cheapwebdesign replied to Matrixdudej's topic in Science and Technology
This is a story my teens love to talk about. I try to tell my girls the science that went into this. My girls are just hard headed. The truth will set you free if you let it. Or kill a hot post. I hope I am not raining on the imagination picnic but the area was scanned with very modern and powerful sonar for an extended period. Using a blanket method that included every inch and cave without a means to allow a slip past, experts put this puppy to rest. In the expert opinions of the world authorities who both conducted the scans and those that observed the methods used, Nessy is not real. They left very little hope if any.For those that say it may have died. trust me, a body would have been found floating bloated on the surface as gases built up from decomposition. A sad truth but truth none the less. Imagine what the mafia could do with a beast like that. "a Tony throw em in the lake" better than pigs in an HBO series. I am sorry to be a party poop but I have to keep it real. Speaking of real. There are some real god unexplained issues in the UFO area. If you can sift the millions of stories your bound to find a few, not many but a few, that are out of this world. Yes I did just do that. lol. I wish they had not scanned that wonderful fantasy out of my world. But they did. Wait until I tell Elvis. He is going to so binge. -
I propose the idea that giving free premium software to those who could never afford a purchase can only help the owners of that software. Some say that if a sale was never going to happen it can't be a lost sale. I agree. If people can get started learning to use programs they could never buy, they may develop skills and abilities that would enable future revenue and loyalty. At the same, time a third world nation can have more development as skilled and trained professionals grow. Another important issue would be addressed as well. Piracy. By lifting the copyrights and making the software free in certain nations we could eliminate the need and spread of this problem. Like the ban on alcohol in America, lifting the restrictive law would eliminate much of the criminal element behind mass piracy in those nations. It is sad that so many people in the eastern block have been made criminals just so they could have a chance to learn a trade and improve the nation. The president of Romania once said that software piracy was a big reason her nation was improving in the IT sector. Does Adobe need to charge these kinds of people? They are posting record earnings and profits far beyond anything they posted before. In summary, I think we can build better international and individual relationships, improve third world living standards, eliminate an entire region of organized crime with a few simple phone calls. I hope the powers that be will see the good that can come and the potential revenue for all that is possible. Perhaps it will happen on a large scale. I would be happy if it did.

Hi all, Great topic. Without doubt the internet is full of great free open source programs. In the hey day of the net one could get just about anything free. Then the internet crash left us with way less options. I remember free faxing, free internet services, free everything. You could start a business for little or no overhead and thrive. For a long time I thought that those days were gone forever. Well thanks to open source I have more free programs than ever. While free services may be less the free programs are most certainly better. I have managed to start a business with open source programs and grow it. I design sites. I started with Open Office the free full office utility that is better that Microsoft Office in my opinion. I could make great craigslist ads and good HTML pages. Using some slide shows and such I could make a very decent site with Open Office. I still use it on certain projects. I love the image map feature. Its lets you make hot spots (links on specific areas of any image. You can in theory make any image or set of images a website. For quick good looking ads it is the best. Then of course I moved on to Joomla. A totally free web site building and management tool that is used on the server. I found this exciting as my sites were all client side made (made on my computer then sent FTP to the server). The idea of building the site on the server with such a powerful tool was amazing to me. Best of all it was a free program and hundreds of others just like it are out there. The demand for Joomla designers and development is an industry in itself.Who would not want a copy of Photoshop free? The Gimp is one of the best image tools in the world with options and features similar to the Adobe product. It may even have more options. With the python installed Gimp can do even more. The best for me is the gradient tint tool that gives so many sites a great modern look. I have made all Gimp image sites and they stand up to Photoshop in every way. Steep learning curve but unlike Photoshop you have a user base support of millions and tutorials, plug-ins all free. The best. Great post. I love talking about the programs that started my new business and paid for all my new toys like Adobe CS3 Master Collection. Need a new job. Be a web designer and developer. All your start up tools are free and so are the classes if you know where to look. My tip; Try Photoscape. It is open source and with some creative thinking you can do just about the same as Photoshop and Gimp (exception would be vector graphics). The key element with this program is no learning curve. It's simple to use but powerful enough to make money with. That says it all.
