  2. If you want to impress a girl you shouldnt search for guides on the net, ask her friends what she likes, aske her friends how to impress her, be friends with her friends, know what they know, and then begin to be her friend - although its risky, she could take you as her best friend.

  4. Lets say one wants to build a 3D engine.Where does one finds all the answers on how, when and where?I've searched for guides and things related to a 3D engine - how its build, why it is build and etc. What I need is a reference on where to start, where shall I begin, guides I can find, guidlines to where I can find tutorials of many kindsI am familiar with C++ but more familiar with C# - Not that there is much difference between the commands, I've taken a good look at the source code of Half Life 2 - Not to hard to understand. Now, I know what I want to do with the engine.I know what kind of game I want, I actually know part of the story.I don't have a team yet, but I figured that anyone wants to join a game production that actually does something, so...Can any one offer help?
  5. This post is for FPS/TPS games ONLY. Alrighty now, that is my first post so be gentle on me. Firstable let me introduce myself: I've played loads of loads of games, and I can consider myself as a gamer, and I study in a school of "gamers", by that I mean that most of them are just geeks that play MMORPG's like WOW and stuff... the other part are athletes that play NFL Madden but most of the school is built of people who actually play in great games that came out not so recently ago, like Crysis, F.E.A.R (Which is kind of old now) and The Orange Box (Not talking about Counter-Strike here lads). Now, from what I have seen, no one actually plays the same games, everyone are spread throughout the categories of gaming. Last time my friends were doing a LAN party at one's house, no one wanted to play the same game. Obviously in the end everyone agreed on Warcraft III or Counter-Strike from personal reasons but I've noticed this is an issue (Mainly because I don't like counter-strike [Nah running and shooting through walls and killing someone doesn't excite me] nor do I like warcraft too much [i actually do, but playing the same game for 4 hours is frustrating for everyone]). And using that issue I found a game, a great game called Splinter Cell: Pandora Tommorrow. That was the first game I saw that uses Co-Op technology. For those of us who don't know what co-op is: Co-Op is eventually a multiplayer mod, that lets you play on missions with friends vs. bots (Yes, yes... There bots in condition zero I agree, but their AI - seriously?!). As you play through the missions you feel the tactical aspect instead of just shooting around and hoping to kill something, because if you'll do that in co-op games you usually die very fast, and not just you, but your friend too (from my experience you don't want to lose 15 games in a row by doing that, your friend would probably laugh at you at first but then he'll become more and more pissed - and as soon as you get into his nerves you get screams all over your headphones/speakers or a beat-up at school.) Now the purpose of this post is for gamers like me (Who like CO-OP games) to find MORE games. Here I'll give you a list of games I've played with CO-OP options and I hereby ask you to add some to the list through the comments The List: Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow (Single Player, Multi-Player and CO-OP) Notes: First game I've played with co-op options - don't expect too much though. GameSpot Link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Stealth-Based Game. Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (Single Player, Multi-Player and obviously CO-OP) Notes: Sequel to Pandora Tomorrow. GameSpot Link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Stealth-Based Game. Splinter Cell Double Agent (Single Player, Multi-Player and obviously CO-OP) Notes: Sequel to Chaos Theory Gamespot Link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Stealth-Based Game. Halo 2 (Single Player, Multi-Player and CO-OP) Notes: Sequel to Halo 1, converted into PC from the Xbox with tons of options. Gamespot Link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Shooting all around Game. Conflict: Denied Ops (Single Player, Multi-Player and CO-OP) Notes: Haven't played it much but I remember it being boring. Gamespot Link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Shooting with some tactics. Tom Clancy's: Rainbow Six: Vegas (Single Player, Multi-Player and CO-OP) Notes: One of the best games for co-op because of its gameplay, graphics EVERYTHING. Gamespot Link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ TACTICS OR SHOOTING - NOT TOGETHER. Tom Clancy's: Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (Single Player, Multi-Player and CO-OP) Notes: the best game for co-op because of its gameplay, graphics EVERYTHING not to mention its the sequel of the other Rainbow Six Vegas. Gamespot Link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ TACTICS OR SHOOTING - NOT TOGETHER. Gears Of War (Single Player, Multi-Player and CO-OP) Notes: A lot of bugs, I didn't actually get to play it because of its million bugs you have a chance of 66.67% to actually run it and not because of it's "High" Graphics. Gamespot Link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Now please, if you have more games, post them on the comments. I hope it helps.
