  1. I too agree that it had an excellent story. As to science behind fiction, there are at least 2 shows on National Geograohic and one on Viasat History on that subject. Find them and watch them. In short religious order Opus Dei does exist but it's nothing like the organization described in the book. Priory of Sion is a hoax by a guy called Pierre Plantard. He claimed that he is heir to the French throne and last grand master of the priory, but it was discovered that he planted the list of grand masters(Leaonardo included) into archives of Paris library and later used it as a proof to his claims. Holy grail was first mentioned in dark or middle ages in literature. I don't remember everything right now, the point is that it's great piece of fiction, but if you want conspiracy theory to believe in, there are much better theories out there.Of course, on the other hand, I might be one of "them", trying you to convince you that Brown lied. Think about it...The truth is out there

  2. Using that logic, thats just like saying that the United States of America is a "part" of Great Britain, although not all of the USA was under British control back in the 1800s. Also, should some asian countries be part of one another? considering World War I and World War II back in the early 90s.

I'm not sure I understand. Who are you replying to?

  3. It's not different. From the legal stand point what happened 50 or 10 years ago doesn't matter here. Either you allow all minority peoples to declare their independence from their states in the regions where they are the majority, or you don't allow any. I don't want to go into what Turkey did for or against Kurds because I don't know the history of the region and you are biased, being Turk, but objectively I don't need to know. Law should be universal and all minorities in all countries in the world should hold same rights. As for repression there was repression all over the world, not just in USSR and China. There was repression against communists in USA, there was repression in India, South Africa and there was repression in Yugoslavia, though it wasn't a puppet state of either USA or USSR during cold war, so repression doesn't bring any additional rights to any ethnic group. And very few, if any, countries' politicians never repressed their critics and political opponents, so no country has higher moral authority based on that alone. Btw Stalin wasn't Russian, he was Georgian

  4. Sorry to disappoint you, but I resolved my problem with ftp client. My question about Java still remains. I saw somewhere that Trap supports Java server pages and that's the reason why I registered, so I assume this shouldn't be a problem, but with Java applications pages have to be kept in the certain folders in order for the application to work. When I try to open the JSP, browser doesn't display anything (no 404 page, which is good), but it seems to be loading something and never finishes doing it(which is bad). Any help would be appreciated

  5. In my opinion those 5 actors were best 5 in the business for many years, but I often wondered who is considered to be the best by other movie fans. All of them have played in classics, all of them won Academy award and everyone of them has his own distinct style, so you can't go wrong with any choice (except for 6).I myself enjoy watching Dustin Hoffman the most, but I don't think that any current star will ever be good enough to be compared with those guys

  6. South Ossetia wants to be independent, but why doesn't the North Ossetia want to be independent? Because north Ossetia is belonging to Russia.South Osseita wants to be independent because the Russians will command new independent state, so they will include them into their borders unseen.
I didn't see the Russians as peace keeping, even in World War II the Russians were unmerciful to German, Polish... people.
Now, Russians take control of South Ossetia, but are still bombarding outside of South Ossetia. Having very high tech nuclear power making Russia too aggressive.
The things what Russia is doing are making the other states to be armed with nuclear weapons. After the operations like this, the count of nuclear armed countries will increase.

Russian troops were in South Ossetia legally as a peace keeping force, recognized by the entire world, Georgia included. If you have problem with that, it's has nothing to do with this war.

If Georgia tried to take South Ossetia back by force, after agreeing to peace keepers and negotiations and attacked Russian forces in the process then Russia has the right kick them out of South Ossetia. Simple as that. North Ossetia has nothing, but absolutely nothing to do with all this. If South Osseita gets its independence there's no reason why they can't choose to unite with Russia, in the same way that Czech Republic can choose to unite with Slovakia and nobody has any right to stop them. I repeat I don't think South Ossetia should be independent, but what Georgia did was a bad way to ensure that.

  7. Russia should pull back from Georgia immediately. I am from Turkey, and Georgia is our north east neighbour country. Russia's attack makes lots of nearby country people angry, including me :) . Turkey is trying to make ceasefire between the two side. But Russia doesn't seem to make a ceasefire. If Russians overrun Georgia, they will have to face with Turkey, and NATO too.The cold war was ended in 1991. But it will start again with a hot war, if Russia continues.

By the way I don't agree that the South Ossetia to become independent. South Ossetia and Abkhazia should continue to be part of Georgia.

I agree with your last sentence. However I don't think that Russia invaded Georgia. I haven't followed all the news, but by what I did see (on TV) I think the fighting broke out when Georgia tried to take back South Ossetia by force and attacked Russian peace keeping troops in the process. I repeat, I know better then to blindly believe everything I see on TV, but that's the impression I got. If that's true then Georgia is the one to blame for the war.

One way or the other I doubt NATO would go to war with Russia over Georgia. Presence of nuclear weapons on both sides make that scenario very unlikely

  8. Trying to convert someone is like the worse thing you can do, in my opinion, I hate all those door to door converters and junk and so if you want to really be a friend let him walk his own path and support him the best way you can. You have no right to force people to conform to your religion and so I wouldn't press the issue with him, just be a friend and not one of those religious nuts.

    I agree 100%
