I use GMail for email, and Miranda as a messenger.

Currently, Windows XP SP2 would be the better choice. Why? Because it is much more polished than Vista (at least in my own opinion).Yes, Vista has Aero (which sucks by the way IMO.. also hogs system resources) and it looks shiny and all that, but when it comes to performance, XP has the upper hand.

If I would answer the question directly, Photoshop is obviously the best image editing software around.I do not think theres a different answer to that question.If you put the question a little different so it depends on personal experience, the answers could be different.I stick with Photoshop.
