What exactly is four pillars of destiny? AKA ba zi. It is actually a system similar to western astrology however the tools of bazi is in contrast much smaller within astrology there is a lot of stars to know in bazi there are bascially just 22 charactors to know. And apply yinyang five element concept it can be use to forcast the ups and down of a person as long as he know his date of birth. In china there are actually stories of how detailed the anaylsis to even predit the year of death and how a person dies. Does anyone know about bazi here? Care to discuss somemore?

Teach Yourself Martial Arts? Is It Really Possible?
mr-jet replied to Webber's topic in General Discussion
I guess it is not feasible to learn from books or self taught however what we can do is the conditioning part. We can better concentrate on the strength flexibility aspect and know what you will be picking up martial easiler if you have the foundation rights. Books and video are merely for revision and tell you what is in detail and become a good tool only when after learning from master. That what I think -
While searching for ways to improve pullups I have found the following concepts to apply while aiming to up your pullups. It is as follows:To really improve your pullup does not really need very strong willpower..... but a whole lot of discipline to not do too muchif you can do 1 pullups then why don't you try to do as many set of 1 pullups. do one pullups ,rest for 10 min then do another one.The bottomline is:Never do it when you are tired. keep as fresh as possible. And if you can't do a pullup go find a bar and hold it till you can do at least one.Try it and tell me the result

For people who are into self-improvement, I highly recommand 7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen Covey. This books lead you to the deep principles of life and provide 7 habits which is so universal reguardless of religion, race etc. It is truely a revolutionary book which can uplift your life. There is also a sequel to his book called "The 8th habits". However in my opinions The 7 habits is truely one of its kind. The 7th habits is as follows: All this habits form a sequential path where it simply could not exist without each other. It is not a quick fix technique which can be taught, it is a lifelong process of learning. The means and the end are the same. Highly recommand this book
