My vote goes to Macintosh. The main reason is stability. Unfortunately, my family is a windows family. I am suprised that after numerous difficulties (computers not turning off, freezes, "illegal opperation messages", programs not working, file corruption etc) that my family hasn't learned :roll: . I do have one macintosh but it is an old Power macintosh 7300/800 that is reliable, but limited in its capabilities. I just now use it to store documents that I don't trust my PC to store.

I'm pretty sure that anything that is a creative production is copyrighted. Just put a small water mark that says '? Cosmic 2004' or something like that.

Well, I've been around the net for quite a while, one thing I noticed is that pretty much everything is copyrighted. And I've been planning to host a graphics site of my own..... Like most other site, I would also like to copyright my materials so no one else would be able to claim them..... But is copyrighting materials a hard process?? Would I have to copyright everytime an image is published?........ I've been wondering about that since the begining of time and have no idea how to..... Would anyone be nice enough to help?

Once you have one ore more OS' installed, you shouldn't change the boot sequence of your harddrives. You will most likely find that you have to change back if you wanna be able to boot again. If you already have installed windows on your primary hdd and your second one is empty, you can install Linux the second one. But first make sure your first hdd is fully used by windows partitions (start>settings>control panel>administrative tools>computermanagement>disk management). Careful if there is any free space here don't add it to the windows partition, just create a new partition. This will ensure linux goes on the second harddrive. Linux installs two partitions. When you are using windows you can see these two drives, but not access them. Windows will tell you they are not formatted and do you want to format now - don't. If you do, you'll find Linux gone and may have problems booting into windows. Near the end of the installation you will be asked if you wan't windows or linux to be the bootmanager. You can choose either but if you choose linux, remember to boot into windows you have to choose the "NT" option in the bootmenu. Good luck. 8)

C'mon man, -- Be serious! Linux or Windows, one of the great advantages of the PC is, no matter what clone or brand you're looking at, there's always a dregree of compatibility - which makes it a lot easier to scavenge parts for a repair or new PC. 8)
