If you would have been keeping up with the forums, you would have known admin shut down free hosting for a while. But he was convinced to reopen it. Now we are working on getting it ready to go. :mrgreen:

Sorry if I'm behind or something. I recieved an email saying free hosting is back.(I only joined recently and was affected by the apache server issues) I wasn't sure if it was back up or not based on posts. I do see that a lot of topics are gone and a lot of stickies with only a few psots that have been made lately in them. As before Cpanel and ftp work for me, but I would have to change my nameservers to see if the servers are back up for me so if you could let me know that would be great. Sorry if this was already asked.

I don't like most of that stuff thats just wall-to-wall noise, its just annoying and most of it sounds the same. But I can, however, tell you some bands that play loud rock music with attitude and it sounds really awesome. The first is Sleepytime Gorilla Museum who not many people have heard of. Their music is experimental and some say weird, but its just different and its very, very interesting. Try their website: http://www.sleepytimegorillamuseum.com/ for some mp3's and other info. Included are links to buy the music, which I reccomend you do. Another band, of the less dark but no less intense stream is The Blood Brothers who's music is UNRELENTING in its constant force. It will probably knock you off your chair if its too loud the first time you hear it. And another band, more rock than thrash is At The Drive-in who split up after one phenominal album "Relationship Of Command" very intense music and very very interesting too. So, not much Thrashcore and not much Death Metal, but three very very very good bands. Enjoy!

Just a suggestion, also the members have been asking that we remove all the old inactive members from the forum.I feel that if you guys wanna do this, it is done before we open the request forum. This will make it easier to remove hosting from those who have been inactive.Thoughts?

HAHAHAHA No, it is NOT Lord Of The Rings. Its about a bunch of kids who get stranded on an island, its very interesting. I saw the movie and it was great lots of raw emotion, really great. Its not like Lord Of The Rings at all though. No magic, no wizards... none of that stuff... maybe thats why you find it boring... But no seriously give it a try it will pick up and get interesting I guarantee.

I voted no. However I think all non-useful members should DEFINATELY be removed. Merger or no merger, the old members that don't use the site should be chopped away.

Family Guy is funnier, edgier and overall more appealing to me.

I cant help to spend all my precious well earned money for an hour or two of enjoyment, I go pretty much every week.

I actually like the added features, as long as they leave a model that doesnt have it all. I dont mind the cool gadgets added to it, I jusit mind the massive price increase that goes with it.

Grateful...no offense APX004 but I expect things to work. I put 100% of my energies into what I do. I ask the same of others. As far as I am aware the front-page of the site still says 99.9% uptime. What statistics this comes from I do not know. As for my question, I don't mean to sound negative...but I'm a realist. How long will we have our accounts up if we re-apply? Two, maybe three weeks tops...then it's back to the start again. Some of us do get bored doing that. FNH used to be reliable...It's not worth the effort rebuilding your site once a month; begins to bore me. Apologies if any of you were offended by my earlier comments. This is a fair enough statement if it was about paid services but this is free hosting. Admin cannot afford multiple servers or load balancing as this is costly so you must be grateful for the service you do recieve. If your not happy with this its time to get a job and buy paid hosting.

The www folder is just a shortcut to the public_html folder. It's best to put it in the public_html folder. Sometimes the www folder doesn't work.

No offense, but that was a very bad idea in my opinion. There might have been info that someone could have found there, and since it is all gone now, they'll have to create topics to ask again. Some people do search, you know. I disagree with you. All useful content form the support forum has now been added/will be added to the FAQ's and so on. 90% of the topics were asking for account resets. The other 10% were questions asking, "How can I access cpanel" and "Where is my site?" With the new setup, there should be a drop in repeat questions.
