  1. Ok dude its like this, xbox is more powerful, has a harddrive and better graphics than ps2, so the graphics are gonna be crisp and beautiful for most games, but the thing is that:1. the xbox is huge, heavy and harder to carry if you travel, like going home from college for the weekend. 2. xbox has a pretty good library of games, but cant compare the vast amount of awsome, absolutely stunning, and just plain incredibly fun games that the ps2 has. So, even though the ps2 doesnt has a built in hard drive, if you buy one new, you know, they new slim style, it will be about 1/6 the size and weight of an xbox. If you buy a used ps2 to get the older style model, you have a chance of buying a harddrive for it, even though it doesnt have much use, besides on some games, and it is about half the size and weight of an xbox. So get a ps2 instead of an xbox. Ps2 has so many incredible game that you will not be sorry. I recommend games like Metal Gear Solid 3, GTA: San Andreas, Jak 3, Ratchet and clank 3, and many many more games that are fun. Plus you can play your classic ps1 games on the ps2, and most ps1 games are very cheap, but still fun. You have so many games to choose from, unlike the xbox.
  2. Well, Ive had very little experience with linux, but a whole lot with windows. In high school, I use to go to a local college for a program I was in that prepares me for college and pays SAT and college application costs and other stuff. We had a class that we use computers and we used linux, but it was so limited due to restrictions and stuff, and it didnt have java. On those computers, I had bad experiences with linux, but Im planning on learning about linux and seeing how it works, along with Unix, cause I hear they are similar, and Im gonna take a class on Unix because it seems like a pretty good OS. Ive been using windows all my life, and it seems like most every computer that you dont build yourself has some type of windows on it. So of course all I really know is Windows. Also, programming seems a little more complicated on linux, or something, but I dont really know. I really want to learn Linux one day though.
  3. Wow dude, that is amazing work. Where did you learn to do that? I have photoshop cs but I dont have time to master and learn everything about it. Did you use tutorials or what, and did you download anything like brushes or other stuff, and if so, where do you download them?
  4. Thats a pretty good list you got there. It really does help a lot. Im in college, and between studying and fun stuff and homework, I dont have much time for learning the stuff I need to learn, like how to use maya and 3d studio max. These tutorials will help me out a lot. But Im too tired right now to read them all, cause its 1:16 am here.
  5. The best place to get super fast internet connection at a low cost, or free, is a college campus. I stay in a dorm on my college campus. Im currently using my wireless internet connection. I can download at speeds up to about 500+kb/s, but it doesnt always download that fast. The wireless internet on my college campus is 11mbps connection speed, and through the network cable ethernet port, its 100mbps connection speed. So if you want a fast internet connection and your going to college, stay on campus so you can get it for free.
  6. I play runescape all the time. Ive been playing for almost 2 years. My runescape name is the same as my name here. Its a really fun game, and highly addictive, especially if you are a member.
  7. I hear that java is closely related to c++, so it shouldnt take you long to learn. A good website is w3schools.com. They give tutorials in a lot of different languages.
