The Different Versions ! Microsoft released windows XP into two versions .Windows xp home and windows xp professional .It was readily apparent that the Pro version was the more feature packed ! -
I think Google apps programmed in Dotnet, so may b they are incompatible with Win 9x

Keep your system with an Antivirus with latest virus definitions update , I prefer use Nod32..which is more reliable and faster than any other AV solutions in the market, i think ! If u have no internet connection to update your windows , download Auto-Patcher and install.It allow to user to update many system with one downloaded Auto Patcher utility
