  1. i use ccleaner. i have been using it for more than a year now.
    it is very fast.

but recently i heard that since it erases all the temporary files, it actually slows down the PC rather than increasing its speed.

is it so? any opinion or research on it?

I appologize if this hasnt already been answered, i didnt eally read all the posts :XD:
    anyways.
    it clears the temporary files.
what these are, is saved data from every website youve ever visited.
it saves just a little bit, including passwords, so that next time you visit, it loads that much faster
after you deleate them, the first time you visit the next webpage, it may run a little bit slower, but the time after that, it will run just as it did before.
The thing thats good about this, is thoes particular webpages you visited once 4 years ago and will never visit again.. well your computer dosent know that. your computer is still wasting space trying to know a little bit about that webpage.
so your gettin rid of that data, and never gonna get it back.
trust me. everything ccleaner does.. is in fact. good :)
    hope it makes sence

  2. According to new research the pyramids were actually made by casting the stones from a concrete-like mix of limestone, lime, and diatomaceous earth that was mixed so perfectly and consistently that no scientist even suspected it until recently. There are still some details to be worked out such as how they actually made all the inner chambers and how they hoisted all that mix to the top to pour in the capstone, but the atomic science doesn't lie, those stones are unlike any limestone that can be found anywhere in nature. Yet another example of how you'll have to unlearn what you "learned" in school!

yea the pyramids have always amazed me.
how such a really simple thing became such a mystery.
There are always theories on everything that has to do with them.
I remmmember watching something about how different pyramids (south america/egypt/africa/ all around) all sprung up at about the same time)
Now how did EVerybody without communication all get the ideas of pyramids at the same time.
Its one of thoes mysteries i want to know all about.
And of course, like always, theirs always thoes few that think it was the dam aliens that told em how... but who knows :XD:

  3. When I first played Age of empires I thought it was the mutts nuts but playing AOE2 soon took that title. A few years later I played Cossacks and then the Art of war expansion.
Hands down Cossacks is much better that AOE 1,2 & 3.

The size of the armies, the amout of resources, buildings and technologies, there is no way that AOE can compare. the onething that used toannoy me with AOE is the limited resources, when the gold pile was finished you would have to look for another one, when they were all gone that was it. This severely hampered gameplay, more specifically in multiplayer games. Cossacks doesn't have this problem, them longer you can hold onto the mine and the more villagers you can stuff into it the better.

The armies can be huge, in Cossacks, with AOE I coud have an army of a few hundred, in Cossacks I have had an army of several thousand. the scree could not hold all the armies in some of the battles.

Micro$oft had a good start but CDV did 1 better, several times. :XD:

I have age of empires 3.
it has my approvement time and time again.
While single player may sometimes be repetative and simply boring,
    i just love playing online
thats where the real strategy comes in.
It is one of the few games where all choices of "who you are" or in this case, what civilization you follow, are entirely equally matched.
I reccomend the game for anybody that strives for perfection really, cuz once u start you won't want to stop till your.. really good :)

  4. What it means to be fit
What does the term "fitness" mean to you? To some people, it may mean following a regular exercise routine. To others, it may mean being well toned or muscular. It may mean eating a balanced diet. And still to others, it can mean the ability to excel in athletics or other physical challenges.

Being fit ultimately refers to your own optimal health and overall well being. Fitness pertains to all aspects of your life - physical, emotional and mental. When you are fit, you have:
ˇ Stamina and a positive outlook that enable you to handle the mental and emotional challenges of everyday life
ˇ Physical strength and endurance to protect yourself in an emergency situations (e.g., leaving a burning building quickly; protecting yourself against an attacker)
ˇ Reduced risk for many health problems, such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes
. The opportunity to look and feel your best; a better chance for a longer and healthier life.

I don't believe I am there yet. But I can tell you - I am definitely in the ball park!

note: i did not write this. It can be found here by the real author.
What it means to be fit...

I just thought that everybody should read this and understand it and live by it.
I really thought that it pulled out the main ideas of what fitness is.
To me, being in shape isn't less fat or better looks, its a way to feal better.
I feel much better when I am active and in shape, then when im not.
I think everybody should understand that being healthy is for yourself, and makes you cleaner and healther
