Name a couple of 'great alternatives.' I like iPods for it's durability and plus, from model to model, they haven't raised the prices. If fact, you get more for you buck. Model - Year - Price First - 2001 - $399, $499 Second - 2002 - $399, $499 Third - 2003 - $299, $399, $499 Fourth - 2004 - $299, $349, $399, $449 Fifth - 2005 - $299, $399 Each model growing in gigabytes for the same price seems very generous to me. (Source: http://appleinsider.com/article/?id=1770) I think Apple is doing quite nicely Notice from rvalkass: Any material copied from another site MUST be placed in Quote tags. How Many Primes Are There? Crazy Question
conal replied to rajibbd's topic in Science and Technology
How big is infinity? The word infinity comes from the Latin infinitas or "unboundedness." It refers to several distinct concepts (usually linked to the idea of "without end") which arise in philosophy, mathematics, and theology. The symbol for infinity is the little sideways eight :PIn mathematics, infinity is often used in contexts where it is treated as if it were a number (i.e., it counts or measures things: "an infinite number of terms") but it is a different type of "number" than the real numbers. There are quite a few different uses for infinity in several languages such as calculus.Say if X equaled infinity...this means that X grows beyond any assigned value, and when X equals -infinity, X is eventually less than any assigned value.Source: Wikipedia :PHope this answered your question(s). -
Oooo very nice. Bookmarked :POnly reason these look legit to me is because I don't recognize them as any of the commonly known scam sites.I wish I had a credit card of some sort :S

Whenever I get CDs in the mail, I toss them across the yard and play frisby with my dog . My sansa's heavy, cheap plastic probably would have hurt my little pup. Then again, CDs can act as papercutters at the right velocity. Small bang, eh? Maybe I should try that out Thanks for the sympathy Not sure about the double post though.

I saw on the history channel last night that they could have made saws by placing a heavy, coarse stone on top of the said block they wished to carve then have oxen pull the coarse stone with a series of rope and something to hold the stone up. They showed some blocks from way back when with such precise cuts that no hand could have carved it.Also, I think they said the romans had a similar method but it was water powered and had multiple blades.

I wish I had a credit card to get a paypal account personally. Well, I do have a debit card and just haven't activated it yet. Curse my laziness :SAs for paypal and charging money, they're just trying to make some money.Like wariorpk said, "Paying $6 to get $200 is not a big deal at all. Would you rather drive or fly to where the money is. It would eat up your $200 thats for sure." (He also had 666 posts at the time lol). You could also try mailing the money but I wouldn't think it to be as trustworthy.

When I first saw the cpanel [5 secs ago] I just stared at the account information and drooled. At first, I was like, wow look at all the pretty 99s then I thought, what the heck am I going to do with 99 subdomains? I'm thinking about getting/buying a domain and parking it here the service and server are so nice! It's so nice that I don't have to remember annoying site names to find the cpanel. I can just type http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. Eek! There are so many awesome things at the cpanel that--actually I'm going to go look now.

I'm neutral at the thought of smoking because the person might not be able to quit smoking and I also feel for the innocent around smoke. I wrote a paper on second hand smoke and no, it's not worse than 'the smoker himself smoking it.' Why are you indicating it is a male smoking? One thing you could do is discourage the smoker by pointing and gagging while holding your nose and then proceed with running away. Their reaction makes smoking worthwhile.

1.) They weren't expecting you. 2.) They wanted to get jiggy and didn't think about children. 3.) The 'protection' broke. 4.) They're normal humans. Well, maybe someday you'll be lucky enough to become a parent and have your kids hate you too. I can't hold grudges either

I believe it was an e250, not sure what an m250 is unless you mean model 250 or still e250 Eh, it's the 2 gig one. I'm jealous that yours didn't break [sarcasm]. I've never had ear buds before and don't plan on getting a pair. They hurt my ears. The only reason I bought the sansa and willingly sledged it was because I bought it for $50 on discount. Plus, I've got a free Zune coming in the mail

Rate The Game: Legend Of Zelda - The Wind Waker ...
conal replied to Liheime's topic in Computer Gaming
4/10 on Twilight PrincessThe game was incredibly easy! I beat it within the day after I bought it. The graphics weren't as great as I hoped for and ALL the puzzles were extremely easy. I could just be getting older and wiser but I don't remember the games being *that* easy. The howling stones and new skills were a nice add-on but kinda random to through in. It made killing monsters a little more interesting than just swinging your sword and making your arm tired. -
Was this the side scrolling fighter game with fighting prostitutes? If so, then this most be the one that guy laughs through the T.V. It scared the 2#$@ out of me when I was little.Fun gameplay but my all time side scroller would have to be Streets of Rage 2.

The Best Game [maplestory] Discussing about the best game, MapleStory
conal replied to darklight's topic in Computer Gaming
I'm not a big fan of Maple Story but friends who have played it or still play it say it's a grind fest. I'm sure the gameplay is decent but I'm not sure if I could withstand starting another game that eventually leads down to grinding all day. -
"I had watch a program on the History channel about video games a few years ago so I vaguely remember why tetris became a copyright problem, so I went to wikipedia (yeah I know bad place to go), but with what they had about the problem I would say they were close to what the tv program mention."I also saw that on the history channel pretty recently. It dragged on for almost an hour but I couldn't help but watch it because of my love for Tetris. Apparently some other company thought that they had the rights of Tetris and owned it. They went on distributing the product until, I guess, Alexey complained. I think he didn't sue and made out with none of their money. He works for some big company now. I remember him drawing blocks for some idea of another game on the show.I loved filling up the screens with the blocks and listening to the music speed up
