Yes, you can still download the soundtrack for Sim City 4 from their website.Even the CD covers.Yeah, I think they did go OTT on some aspects of the game. But I guess its just to make it seem more realistic. I think Sim City has always had a big following and if EA/Maxis spent as much time and effort in releasing the ultimate Sim City game instead of focusing all their talents and time on The Sims; it'd be one great game.The ironic thing is that I'm not a huge fan of The Sims. I don't like doing chores/going to work in real life, so why would I want to do it on my computer? Haha.However, most people at some point in their life dream of ruling the world [well I did anyway] and thats all possible in Sim City.I hope they do release a new version. I will definately buy it.

The best car/racing game I think I've ever played is the Burnout series.I'm sure some of you have played it, its just an addictive arcade racing game where the object is move up ranks and become the best racer.The gameplay is great. Not only do you get to race against extremely intuitive AI, but you get to smash into them and make 'em slam into a wall/building or whatever else is nearby at the time of impact. And on doing so, you gain extra boost to push your car along even faster ultimately creating much more devastation when you collide with others.Theres also other modes of gameplay in Burnout too. Such as Crash. Its simple enough, you're given a scenario and have to get top speed then crash your vehicle into as many other vehicles as possible. You have targets to reach. Theres a different medal [gold, silver and bronze] depending on how much moneys worth of damage you cause.Obviously you need all gold medals in all events to 100% the game. But it never gets old and it has so much replayability.I got 100% on Burnout Revenge not long ago. After which, I started all again, from scratch. Its that much fun to play.The multiplayer aspect of the game is just as much fun too. Definately one for you and your friends to spend a few hours in front of.Its an extremely successful series of games which EA have released and will always be my favourite car/racing game.If you just want to race around and smash into other cars and create as much havoc as possible, then this game is for you. Theres no modding of vehicles, no messing around choosing which rims look best with the new pearlescent paint job you just bought - its just pure fun.

I've got PSX, Xbox, N64, Sega Master System [first one with the card reader], NES & SNES.I've had in the past a PS2, Sega Saturn & Sega Mega CD.Aswell as playing games on my PC, I have to state that each console has its own benefits and their games each offer something different.If I want to get lost in a real good fantasy game, then I'll power up my PC and hit some RPG's for a while.If I want to smash the crap out of other cars, doing 200mph around a fictitious race track, then I'll stick on my Xbox and get lost in Burnout Revenge.However, I am way too addicted to the older, retro gaming systems. I LOVE Mario 64. I still kick *bottom* on Street Fighter 2 on my SNES. And I WILL NEVER, EVER stop playing Final Fantasy VII on my PSX.So I don't know if I have a favourite, its more like I have lots of favourites.Although, I can't seem to drag myself away from Fable: The Lost Chapters on my Xbox either recently. Thats possibly the game of the moment for me. Even if it is a little old now

I must admit, I've been a fan of Sim City ever since I first played it on my SNES back when I was 10 or 11 years old. Back then, the SNES was the greatest thing in the world and being able to create, govern and if you wish, destroy a city was even greater. I'm sure you've all either played or at least heard of the Sim City franchise so I won't insult your intelligence by stating what the game is all about. It was and still is an excellent tool for megalomaniacs the world over. Although, the first versions of the game were quite basic, it soon became more and more complex with each new release. Sim City 4 was released about 3 years ago and it really does feel like you're a major player in the world of economics and politics. Everything from maintaining your budget to striking deals with your neighbouring cities to allow commerce to expand and industry to thrive; Sim City 4 has it all. I've been known to spend a great deal of time playing it and it never grows old on you. Whether it be a natural disaster or environmentalists are protesting about the pollution from your industrial zones; it really keeps you on your toes. And not to mention the soundtrack. It compliments the game so well. Electronic Arts have put a java based version of Sim City on the Sim City website for anyone to play. So even if you can't afford the retail version, you can at least have a go online from the comfort of your browser. Again, I thank you all for the replies. I'm pretty damn emotional about it all at the moment and it seems like we will never be together the way I want us to be.So my only option now is to move on. Its going to be damn hard as I'm too sensitive for my own good, but I'm going to have to give it my best shot.I think right now, I'm more upset with myself for not pushing things further back when she liked me and now thats something I have to live with. Thats been real hard dealing with and even thinking about it makes it that much worse.I suppose all is not lost though, I still have her as a close friend and even though its painful to be near her with these feelings I have, nothing anyone can do can change the way things are now.And that really does suck.

Thank you for your replies.Its quite a tender subject at the moment and I think I won't pursue it any further. We've had a great friendship thus far and although it hurts like hell to be just friends, I think ultimately its what we're good at. I can't jeopardise what we've got. Not for my own selfish gain.I'll always stand by her, I'll alway be there for her and she knows this. I think that is the best path to take.But while I say all this, it still grieves me to know that what I want, I cannot have.I guess I have just got to keep my chin up and move on.But damn does it hurt.

I'm still new around here so I don't really know why I'm asking strangers for advice, but ohwell.So my story begins back at the end of March. I had just been 'kicked' out of a long term relationship and was feeling pretty damn low. My self esteem was almost non existant and my opinion on relationships had hit rock bottom. So I was pretty bad.However during this time, I met someone. She was great. She was more than great. She was also going through a 'break up' and we both comforted each other and gave one another a shoulder to cry on.It was a couple of weeks later when she told me how she really did feel about me. She told me that she wanted to be more than friends with me but at the time I couldn't give her that because I was still cut up about my ex. So we just continued as normal with hardly any mention of feelings.I knew I liked her but I couldn't hide the fact that I was still trying to get over my ex.So during the time since, I've started to find myself head over heels about this girl. I mean, proper head over heels haha.I think about her non stop, continuously, 24 hours a day.But it seems that I left it a little too late as now I think she's no longer interested in me the way she was back in March.Its heartbreaking, because if I had just gone with my feelings a month ago, once I knew that I liked her, we could be together now. But no, I had to go and be an idiot.I guess I'm not really asking or searching for advice because I know exactly the kind of moron I've been.I guess I'm just looking for a new shoulder to cry on...

This is quite a controversial subject. Not just because of your statement, "If you are a guy and you are attracted to a girl on street, why wont you rape her?", but because when discussing laws its usually down to personal opinion, often which are controversial.I'll start by saying that since Roman times, laws have always been in place to prevent criminal activity by imposing fines/prison sentences and to maintain a healthy and civilised society.I don't believe that we're controlled by fear. I think, again, that is a matter of opinion. Each person has his or her own moral stance when it comes to understanding and interpreting the different laws which are in place. Personally, I think a world without laws, a society based on anarchistic ideals is not exactly what I'd want. I abide by the law simply because I don't want to find myself behind bars. Whereas the next man may break the law, whether for personal gain or whatever, but he chooses to do so.And that I think is important. We each choose whether or not if we want to abide by the rules. Until our ability to choose is taken away, your remark that we're controlled by fear is simply void.

Talking of emulators, has any PS2 emulators been released yet? I guess I could 'google' it but I thought I'd ask here first.I got the Project64 [N64] emulator. I love Mario Kart. Haha.I also got ePSXe emulator. Just so I can play FF7 on my PC. Which saves me having to clean my usually very dusty Playstation.But yeah, I think you find older gamers playing the more 'hardcore' MMORPG's which tend to focus more on the RPG elements than going out and just killing things.Not to say that younger people don't play these games, its just a trend I've noticed. I started playing WYD when it launched in June.I found it a bit too easy to level though. Usually, I like games where I can get to a high level relatively quickly but in WYD it took me like an hour to get to level 31.Its a good game though, although I lagged quite a bit in towns. On a good note, the music is very cool hah.

Like some others, I do not believe in any God or celestial being. Nor do I believe in Heaven or Hell.Infact, like the entire human race, I don't know what happens after death. I can though, like the rest of you, speculate what happens.In that case, I think nothing happens. If you've seen the 21 Grams or familiar with Duncan McDougall's work on the weight supposedly lost from a person after death, which is believed to be the persons soul escaping [obviously a cadaver isn't much use to a soul], then I really don't know what happens.Maybe that weight lost is your soul and its floating off into Heaven.Or maybe, just maybe, no one actually knows.I know that some people who have died and have been brought back to life have seen a white light and stuff like that. But I won't believe anything to do with 'what happens when die' until I die myself.I just hope I'll have a little laptop with little angel wings and a little halo so I can come back here to tell you what actually does happen when you die.Just cross your fingers that I can get wi-fi wherever I end up when I'm dead and that I'm not in a 'blackspot'. :s

To quote Mel Gibson from Lethal Weapon 3, "I bet vital parts of my anatomy" to the fact that I have indeed seen 2 UFO's.I wasn't drunk on either occasion neither.The first time I saw one was when I was about 11 years old. I was in the car with my mother driving at night, must of been around 8pm ish. I live in a rural area in the UK so the skies are almost crystal clear at night due to the lack of smog and other crap which usually plagues city skylines. So its easy to notice something in the sky.Anyway, it was around 8pm and I was in the passenger seat of my parents car with my mother driving and I bent down to tie up my shoelace. As I was tying it up I happened to just turn my head upwards and have a look out of the windscreen, up into the night sky. As I did, I saw some lights at, it must of been 200ft directly above the car.There were 2 sets of lights; 5 white ones in a circle formation above 4 red lights. They weren't rotating or moving so it seemed. I saw them and being only 11 years old with a very fragile mind, I quickly put my head down again and continued tying my laces. When I had finished, I looked back up again and the lights had gone. My mum never asked me what I was doing as she knew I was always looking in the skies for an Imperial Star Cruiser or something to come and vaporise the planet. [big Star Wars fan].I never knew what the lights were, although, looking back now, it could of just been the dashboard instruments reflecting on the windscreen. But the illumination of the dash in a Toyota Celica at that time couldn't of produced what I saw.Incident #2 happened a few years later. I must of been 14 or 15. I was in the car again, this time with my dad.It was around the same time again, infact I believe it was about 8:15pm. We had stopped not far from my house at a garage to refuel and my dad had gone inside to pay. I was, as usual, monitoring the skies for any alien activity when I just found myself staring at the moon. It was a full moon and it was very bright that night. As I was looking at it, this semi-circle of bright light seemed to come out of the left side of the moon and began floating across the night sky.I just sat there in the car and watched it float away from the moon when behind it was a smaller sphere of light trailing it.They just floated away, with no noise or no change in their course when all of a sudden, they disappeared. Both of them vanished.My dad came back to the car but I never told him what I saw. Don't know why. Maybe because I thought he'd send to one of those 'special' schools.I haven't made these up either. These are both true accounts witnessed by me several years ago.Believe me or not, I know what I saw...

I thought it best I introduce myself as I will hopefully become a regular forum poster [providing my hosting request gets accepted, once I acheive the required credits ].My name is Steve. I live in the UK, I'm almost 26 years old and a punk devotee. I spend my spare time infront of my computer learning PHP, testing new and different forum software as well as running and maintaining a MMOG community site [hopefully soon to be transferred to Xisto *Winks*].Not only do I mess around with different forum software while I'm sat staring at my monitor, but I also enjoy and play a few MMOG's. These include: Flyff, Oz World, Tales Of Pirates, Ultima Online etc.As stated, I am a punk. 14 years and counting.I have been playing the guitar, also for 14 years and when I'm not running forums or playing online games, I'm creating weird electronic tunes.I used to skateboard for 8 years of my life until I slammed hard when I was 19 and the trucks went into the base of my spine.Sounds worse than it actually was, but I've been plagued with back problems ever since. So I gave that up.Theres not much else to tell you really, unless you want to know what I look like or what I ate for breakfast.So I'll leave it like that for now. :)Looking forward to having some friendly discussions with you all soon.

As someone who was listening to bands such as Propagandhi, NOFX, Bad Religion, Voodoo Glow Skulls etc . since the early 90's, I never really paid that much attention to Green Day. After listening to some of the afforementioned bands, Green Day seemed kind of bland and, well just boring. Billy Joe can sing, so I don't know why someone stated that he can't. He's a good frontman yet not the greatest guitarist in the world. Anyway, in 2005 I was begged and begged to go see them at the Milton Keynes Bowl on their infamous 2 day, sellout tour and to my surprise, after waiting in the unbelievably hot weather [i know, strange for June in the UK] with a tan that would put David Dickinson [Google him] to shame, Green Day took to the stage. I wasn't blown away by the music but more by their stage presence. They were good entertainers and performed well and knew how to get the sunburnt spectators into a frenzy. Albeit to rather lacklustre melodies and 3 chord songs. ?35 that ticket cost [roughly $67 USD] and personally I don't think it was worth it. I could of spent ?10 on a bottle of fake tan and spent the rest on booze and sat in my house listening to better music on my PC and have just the same amount of fun, if not more. Each to their own I suppose.

I used to love school and when people say to you, "your school days are the best days of your life and you'll wish you were right back there once you experience the 'real world'", they were right.I think, personally, the best way to make school fun is to be with the people who you enjoy being around. Keep your close friends close and your enemies closer. Hah.No, seriously, if you're hanging around with some good people, who you know you'll always be in touch with, then you can make school the greatest place on earth [if only for a few years of your life].I am still best friends with someone I've known since I was 6 and I'm now almost 26, so thats nearly 20 years of friendship and we still have just as much, if not more fun hanging out than we did 10 years ago in high school.You keep these people close to you in school and you can have the best time ever.As for me, I sorely miss school and the teenage years of my life [just as my parents predicted] and often reminisce with old friends of the good times and stupid things we used to get up to.Ahwell...*Wipes single tear* Haha.Enjoy it before real life kicks you in the family jewels and slaps you with an almost endless array of bills which you will no doubt find yourself paying.
