  3. I'm Canadian, from Ontario... kicking back on this fine holiday monday!
  4. I don't think there is a simple technique that if performed a gazillion times makes you play like the pros. It comes from talent and experience, so the more you play and the more you play with other people will improve both your skills and let you learn something from other guitarists.
  5. If you don't have any other musical training, I'd suggest getting yourself a good teacher because understanding the basics of music is very important. I've got 8 years of piano behind me and its been invaluable when it comes to playing. Lal hit it dead on with the suggestion to look for tab on the net, its the best free way to learn to play like the pros.woot, im not alone in my linkin park hating
  6. I've been playing guitar for about a year and a bit now, so am by no means an expert. What kinda stuff you interested in learning?
  7. It was all downhill after the first... came out of the theatre after both the second and third and realized i just wasted 10 bucks

    Java Help

One way to do it is to give make a quantity field and a disabled price field and give each an id:var userTotal;var i=0, ;while(document.getElementById){ var quantity = document.getElementById('quantity' + i).value; var price = document.geteElementById('price' + i).value; var total = quantity * price; userTotal += total; i++;}document.getElementById('totalPrice').value = userTotal;now your going to have issues with decimal places, but thats another story...though often confused, java and javascript are very different. javascript was created by netscape as a browser scripting language that lacks any file i/o,etc. Its simple and easy to learn, whereas java is a more substantial object oriented scripting language that can be used to create standalone applications and such

  12. If you like King Arthur and such, check out Uther by Jack Whyte, or any of his books for that matter. Just finished Uther and it was great, adds a lot to the very basic version of the legend that most people know of. Another great author that mixes 'history' (or at least the legends and such of those times) and fantasy is Guy Gavriel Kay. Not only do they make for great books but you learn something real about those times.
