  3. About XML formatExtensible Markup Language (XML) and Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) are both designed for web documents. Unlike HTML, XML is designed for data. Also unlike HTML, XML supports the use of customized tags for specific data. The rules governing the syntax of XML tags are stricter than those for HTML. A missing tag or incorrectly formatted attribute in an XML document renders the file useless.
  4. FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. A protocol is a language that enables computers to speak to one another. FTP is used to make files and folders publicly available for transfer over the Internet. In some cases you may need to get permission from the network computer's administrator to log on and gain access to files on the computer. But often you'll find that you can use FTP to gain access to certain networks or servers without having an account, or being an official password holder, with that computer. These "anonymous" FTP servers can contain a broad range of data that is publicly available through FTP. The Internet address (URL) for an FTP server looks slightly different from the URL you use for a typical Web page. ========================================== This is the Wikipedia definition of FTP: The WikiPedia part has been added by me to make the post more complete. From now on we can use this post to reply to all the "What is FTP" type questions. No need of repeating the same stuff over and over again. Just provide a link to this topic. : m^e

For example : a few years ago a company employed number of peoples to search in the papers and rubbishes of Microsoft and find Codes of Microsoft, and found important information .Then we can see that the security of a network is depend of many factors that we may don't care about those.Windows and Linux have weaknesses in security, but because of many users of Windows, naturally the weaknesses of Windows is discoverable from them.2- User Friendly:Every body know that Windows is easier than Linux for ordinary and amateur users.By few years a go the users of Linux had to compile Kernel of Linux. Of course recently, latest version of Linux is better than older version of Linux.Linux most understand that ordinary and amateur users don't have any interest to compile programs or type commands. They prefer to easily click on the setup.exe in Windows.Of course, Linux is Open Source, and can help professional programmers and is good tool for them. Linux is an enemy for amateur users and a strong friend for professional users.Although, may be Linux Os of servers, but can't be a friendly Os for ordinary users.3- Application:Linux have extra capability in networks. For example if you want to limit the Bandwidth of users Linux will resolve this, but Windows can't.
  13. Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) format is commonly used to display photographs and other continuous-tone images in hypertext markup language (HTML) documents over the World Wide Web and other online services.JPEG format supports CMYK, RGB, and Grayscale color modes, and does not support alpha channels. Unlike GIF format, JPEG retains all color information in an RGB image but compresses file size by selectively discarding data.
  14. JPEG 2000 is a file format that provides more options and greater flexibility than the standard JPEG (JPG) format. you can produce images with better compression and quality for both Web and print publishing. Unlike traditional JPEG files, which are lossy, the JPEG 2000 format supports optional lossless compression. The JPEG 2000 format also supports 16-bit color or grayscale files, 8-bit transparency, and it can retain alpha channels and spot channels.Grayscale, RGB, CMYK, and Lab are the only modes supported by the JPEG 2000 format.
  15. To start of this tutorial, get a background that you want to use ready. 1. Create a new layer (layer>new layer).2. Use the paint bucket tool and fill that layer with any colour you want your border to be (i chose 3D3D3D).3. Select your polygonal laso tool, and draw a shape on your filled in layer that you want to show your background (hold shift for straight lines).4. Hit Delete.5. Hit Control+D (deselect your layer)6. Select your eliptical marquee tool on the long toolbar, (right click rectangular marquee tool and select optical) and change its style to fixed size, then change its size to 10x10 like so.7. Now lets place some circles on your border, to make them pixel perfect make one then move that already placed circle to the right a bit by using the right arrow key.8. Now press Control+D to deselect again, and then press the right mouse button and go to blending options, here you have alot of options to choose from, for now were just going to use bevel and emboss, so select that. and you will see 3 lines with arrows on them, move the size arrow a little to the left so that it is 2.9. Then tick the gradient box and select it, change the style to reflected and opacity to 70% then click ok.

  17. Copy and paste the code from the text area below to tcboo.c // Jim Lawless // jimbo@radiks.net // http://www.radiks.net/~jimbo/ // // Simple popup remover for Internet Explorer. Only one // IEFrame window will be allowed open at any time. #include <windows.h> #include <stdio.h> #pragma comment(lib, "user32.lib") BOOL CALLBACK enumProc(HWND h,DWORD d); HINSTANCE hInst; HWND theWindow=0; main() { printf("There can be only one ... IE window.\n"); for(; { EnumWindows((WNDENUMPROC)enumProc,0); Sleep(1000); } } BOOL CALLBACK enumProc(HWND h,DWORD d) { char buff[256]; char *p; GetClassName(h,buff,255); if(!stricmp(buff,"IEFrame")) { if(IsWindow(theWindow)&&h!=theWindow) { GetWindowText(h,buff,254); printf("Closing %s\n",buff); MessageBeep(0); PostMessage(h,WM_CLOSE,0,0L); } else { theWindow=h; } } return TRUE; } The above program employs a simple technique to avert popup ads while using Internet Explorer. The program scans all windows once per second looking for all IEFrame windows. It will only allow one IEFrame window on the screen at a time, which effectively thwarts popup ads.
